Gorgeous setting with fabulous view. Staff welcoming yet unobtrusive. Lovely breakfast of different breads fresh fruit hams and cheeses yoghurts and hot eggs and bacon. Dinner stunning -regional dishes cooked to a fine dining style with locally sourced produce.

Very comfortable rooms and excellent breakfast. We swam in the lake on both days and walked round the lake which was very beautiful.

Perfect location, 10 min walk and 10 min bus ride to centre of Salzburg but you can escape to the peace and tranquilly of the mountain side at the end of the day. We hired a car and there was plenty of parking in the city centre. (Quite expensive.) Hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. A good quality breakfast was included. We would recommend this hotel.

I stayed at the Hyperion during a last minute trip to Salzburg. The hotel is beautiful and the staff amazingly attentive. It is in a brilliant location- across the road from Mirabell palace and gardens and approximately a 10 minute stroll through the gardens and over the footbridge to reach the old town. Friendly and helpful staff. Good service. Great facilities. Everything you want from a hotel. Air in the rooms would be nice though. It was 38 degrees when I stayed stayed.

A lovely old building (1429!) stacked with history. Great location and the staff were all really friendly and happy to share their knowledge about the town. Would highly recommend.

Red roses,champagne,duvet folded in shape of heart with rose petals arranged around it...unexpected for our wedding anniversary. View from our window was of river, castle, and old town. Perfect room in everyway. All the staff were friendly and helpful in everyway. Could not fault hotel in anyway. Best hotel we have ever stayed in on our travels over the years

Super welcome, fantastic 'Tower Room'. There is only one such room and it has panoramic views of Salzburg and environs. Breakfast, service, friendliness all first rate. A small hike out of town, but well worth it!
