The good: I really like the location. The room was a really nice size, clean and comfortable. I asked for extra pillows and received them.
The not so good: The heating could not be controlled, it was way too hot. I was greeted once on entering the hotel. Even when the desk was not busy there was no salutation and the staff there came across as unwelcoming. Slow check out. I contacted the hotel for an earlier check in before I went but nobody got back to me. My flight was early and they stood by the 3 pm time even though others arrived after me and got checked in. I waited from 10:30 until 3.
A smile would have been great.

We had a great stay at Myers - very helpful front desk staff, lovely bar (could use a dry Rose wine :) ), really comfortable beds. And the neighbourhood is wonderful.

I last stayed in this hotel ten years ago. I was impressed them and was equally impressed again this time. The hotel is very clean, the staff were always helpful and friendly. The breakfast was good quality and tasty. The room was very comfortable with air conditioning and a lovely hot shower. The hotel now has super fast 400mb broadband which was a very welcome addition. Being only 30 minutes from the airport it was ideal for my short break

We stayed for 3 nights as a long weekend to visit Berlin. The location in Alexanderplatz was idéal for getting around by public transport and was on the same line (S9) as the airport. Clean room, nice bed. Welcoming reception. They had some problems with the computer system on our arrival day, and the bar staff who were temporary staff were absolutely useless, but once the normal staff had taken over it was great.
