It's a nice place to be on it safty is 💯 just need some renovations as everything is in older fashion ...like electrical plugs to chage a phone or alap top even a hair draier :otherwise place is clean and smart

Good overnight stop

The chalet was clean and close to the border, so it suited our needs well for an overnight stop and early start. The bed was a double bed... so small for two adults and the shower was in the bath... so certainly not a place for a honeymoon. The decor and furniture is similar to the Kruger Park chalets. The place is neat and well run.

Great location on the river and only about 12 minutes from the Crocodile Bridge Gate at Kruger. It's not a luxurious property but we had the proper expectations. We enjoyed the amenities that we needed and the location on the river was tranquil and beautiful. The staff was very accommodating and friendly.

They need to get their booking system in order. Despite having 2 units available on Expedia, and despite the booking on Expedia being both paid and confirmed, they were fully booked when we arrived. Once there, the people in charge were able to find another lodge within Komatipoort and refunded the price difference. The place looks nice, but we did not stay there.

Feb 2019 Komatipoort stay.

We had a very pleasant stay at Komatipoort River Chalets. It’s a very simple, family oriented place but a rare spot on the river. It is very close to the Mozambique border and there is some traffic you’re aware of but I would say that it is worth the price. Will definitely consider going back in the future.
