As Owners who live here five months of the year we pride ourselves in providing all the amenities one could possibly want to make your visit enjoyable, including air conditioning throughout. We have often been told that staying in our condo is like being on a cruise ship, as you are surrounded by water and are able to view the Ocean from both the Lanai and out the Front door. You will find that you are only steps away from two remarkable beaches where the best South Shore surfing, snorkeling, and sunbathing take place. There is no hassle of parking your car or walking a long distance to the beach. Just stroll down the stairs or take the elevator and you’ll have two beaches to enjoy - one rocky but great for snorkeling and one sandy. Our exceptional Fourth floor views cannot be equaled as you cast your eyes on the majestic mountains and beautiful Hoai Bay. Our top floor, peaceful, 20 foot Lanai offers privacy while watching the sea turtles, whales, and “Locals” throwing their fish nets. You will enjoy the magnificent sunrise and also appreciate the gentle tradewinds throughout the day. Kauai doesn’t get any better. The open floor plan with Hawaiian artwork and native Koa wood accents allow you to enjoy the view from the living room, dining room and kitchen. The living room features tropical décor in a large sitting area with a 43” Smart HDTV and a desk with high-speed wireless internet connection. Our updated, immaculate condo also features a king size bed and one bathroom with an oversized, tiled, glass enclosed shower with grab bar. Since we do live here five months of the year, our place is meticulously maintained, cared for, and appointed with luxuries to meet your every need. Not a detail has been overlooked. This is not our business, but a paradise we would like to share with you. Within walking distance is Spouting Horn Park where you can see “blow hole” and bargain shop in the many local run booths. Just before Spouting Horn is the National Tropical Botanical Gardens Visitor Center. This incredibly beautiful garden consists of 252 rich, lush acres of varied plants, palms, and birds, and offers both guided and self-guided tours. Kukui’ula Village, located at the round-about that leads to Kuhio Shores, is within walking distance and is reminiscent of a quaint sugar cane town. Plantation style architecture in a lush tropical setting offers a relaxing time of shopping and dining. Kuhio Shores sits next to the famous Beach House restaurant. It offers spectacular sunsets right on the beach that will linger in your memory long after you return home. For cooking at “home”, be sure to check out the wonderful fish markets, green markets, and fruitstands where you can pick up the Island’s best tropical fish and homegrown fruits and veggies. In Kauai, every day is a great day. Much of the rainfall is a nightly occurrence and the rain showers that do occur are almost always brief. It is truly beautiful, and a blessing if it rains, and often is followed by glorious rainbows. We invite you to enjoy our home-away-from-home on the beautiful Island of Kauai. The property is older but well maintained. The kitchen was well stocked and for a smaller kitchen,very comfortable. We had a fantastic ocean view and could watch the sunrise in the morning. We were looking for a relaxing time in Kauai. This property and view were beyond what we expected. The property is lovely and had everything we needed, clean, comfortable, all the needed kitcheny stuff to make meals as we desired. A nice bed and clean bathroom. All good. But to wake up and have coffee on the balcony and watch the sunrise over the hill and have the view of turtle bay right before us, the whole time is beyond words. We saw plenty of turtles, a reef shark, and fish from the balcony. This makes this place an eleven! We will be coming back! ##### steve g. You cannot beat the sunset and birds each evening. There are no surprises, the condo is exactly as described. I recommend HoloHolo Charters Nepali and Niihau coast tour. Departs at 6am and the drive to Port Allen is only 20 minutes. Checkout Backwoods for tubing down the old sugar cane water tunnels. About 25min drive from the condo. The Beach House restaurant next to the property is a must for a refreshing cocktail and crab cakes at sunset. I will be back to this condo for future island hops!!! The place was well maintained, very clean, charmingly furnished and the king bed was amazingly comfortable. The views of the ocean and shoreline were lovely! The condo’ s owner was very helpful and easy to communicate with, which made the check-in process a breeze. The only slight downside is that Lawai road that Kuhio Shores is located on, is a pretty busy and noisy road, especially since the Beach House bar and grill is right by there. Luckily, this condo is at the opposite end of the building, away from the loud music of the bar. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and Koloa/Poipu is now our favorite area on the island! ##### Karen B. The property was as advertised and more. Nice kitchen appliances, ample comfy living room, dining area, and deck furniture. Ample bedding and pillows. Sound of the surf so comforting. Morning coffee with my crochet overlooking the water. The unit cooling off as the sun moved to the other side of the building in the afternoon. Walk around the building onto the seaside lawn for sunset. Best fish on the island literally next door! Couldn’t ask for more, and we’d love to return the next time we need a Hawaiian-style staycation from Oahu:). UOh — and we used the binoculars for bird watching at Kilauea Lighthouse Wildlife Refuge and at Waimea Canyon. Thank you to the owners for a lovely place to unwind. ##### Carol S. We didn’t use the kitchen extensively, but appreciated having all the little things just in case- we typically use the fridge and microwave, coffee maker and utensils. The binoculars were really great to check out the turtles in the cove! We have never seen so many and we loved watching them every day. The beach supplies were also really nice, great chairs and noodles! We appreciated the umbrella, but with the higher winds, were too hesitant to use it. We were always able to find some shade at the beach. The a/c was nice for the bedroom at night, bed was very comfortable. There were guidebooks. I brought a hawaii one but only used their best of Kauai one the most while there! Keypad code was also really handy so we didn’t have to mess with keys. Parking was easy. We used the laundry machine in the building and just air dried our clothes. The building grounds are great for watching the surfers and the sunset. And easy walk at night to the neat shopping complex for dinner or ice cream. Overall the town was really nice, small but had everything you needed. Laid back and friendly. We enjoyed the relaxed pace of Kauai. Everything was well marked and the check in book was detailed. Very clean upon arrival. Would stay here again if we return to Kauai in the future! ##### Jennifer K. Exactly as pictured. The view is unbeatable. The constant sound of waves crashing outside was so relaxing. And the sea turtles swimming below us were amazing. It's a quiet building in a great location. Steps to several beaches. A short drive to town, poipu beach and amazing hiking. I can't find anything negative about it except that we had to leave... We had a wonderful Kauai vacation -- owing lots to the fact that we were in the perfect place in an outstanding location! We loved loved loved the condo. Spent every morning watching the sunrise from the lanai -- and every evening we made sure to watch the GORGEOUS sunsets! One week was not nearly enough, there was so much to see and do. One definitely needs to spend down time sitting on the balcony watching the turtles in the little bay next door. The place is darling, loved the kitchen. We really appreciated having access to beach towels, beach chairs, the cooler, etc. The host thought of everything! Thank you again! We will be back! ##### Lisa F. We had an amazing visit. The condo was so comfortable, relaxing and had everything we needed. It was the perfect place to call home for a week. Checking in and out and the communication with the owner was very easy. The bed was comfortable and there was air conditioning in the bedroom. We slept great each night. We loved spending our mornings and evenings on the balcony listening to and watching the waves crash. The living room had air conditioning too, but the ocean breeze from the floor to ceiling windows was so nice, we didn’t really need it. It was also really nice having beach chairs and an umbrella to take with us to the beach. The location was perfect. It made it easy to explore every part of the island. We are already trying to figure out when we can come back and visit again. We will definitely want to stay here again. ##### Jenni B. Centrally located to Poipu Beach, area restaurants. We watched Hawaiian Green Turtles frolic in the waters right below our waterfront condo. As a side note, Would highly recommend making your restaurant reservations prior to arrival. Most of the well known/frequented restaurants had no walk in capacity. Our host, Jane, was prompt with any inquiries we had. I would recommend this property to others. We would recommend this property. ##### Frank F. The owner is also very responsive and responds to messages quickly! Cons- everything is very outdated, check in instructions were a little lacking, and we could never figure out the WiFi because the code in the welcome book is different from the check in guide and the owner messaged me a completely separate one - none worked and we could’ve kept trying more but it wasn’t our biggest priority. ##### Meaghan B.
