The beach is about a 10 minute walk with it being mostly uphill on the way back. The host provides a wagon so that was helpful.For those worried about not having a/c throughout it really wasn’t an issue. We are all from Houston where a/c is everything so we’re worried it would be too hot but never even noticed it other than for about an hour in the late afternoon. We had a few minor issues of things not in proper working order. Not a huge deal, but for something that costs that much a night, we expected everything to be functioning. If I had to make a suggestion, the air conditioner is not a strong enough unit to keep the bedrooms cool. There are two oscillating fans, but didn't push enough of the cool air to the bedrooms. We had a family of 9\. It was nice to have all the beds the same so there was no fighting over spots.
