The young adults upstairs were playing a full on foot ball game up there at 9pm. The loudest I’ve ever heard. Needs a few updates. Some of the blinds didnt work and definetly needs a new coffee maker but overall great location close to everything in poipu. The people upstairs were very loud every night and all the way up to 2 am very inconsiderate. It was a short walk to the beach. It was clean and well maintained. The kitchen had everything we needed and it was great to have a washer and dryer. The unit provides beach chairs, a beach umbrella, and beach towels. Having the washer and dryer in the unit was a big plus. The short walk on the "greenbelt" to the beaches made it easy for us to access the beaches and local restaurants. The management folks were super responsive and courteous. ##### Russel P. We stayed 5 nights in comfort. Super cozy beds, pillows & bedding. Water pressure in showers are excellent. Kitchen's fully stocked with essentials. Very clean. Washer/dryer inside. Very spacious!! They could use a new ironing board but I'm sure most guest don't iron since most live in bathing suits while in Kauai. We were attending our nephews wedding, so needed to iron. Usually condos are about 800 square feet (which is fine) But walking into this one was nice! On top of that the AC was on so it wasn't stuffy once we got inside. I liked the assigned parking space. Seems like management really keeps up with things there too. They empty the trash multiple times a day and just keep a general eye on the property. Close to Poipu beach, Kalapaki Joe's and Brennekes. Liked that the condo provided beach chairs, boogie boards and beach towels. They also had a beach umbrella and beach toys for kids (we didn't use) I would definitely consider this place for your stay if you're looking in the Poipu area. ##### Linda M. The condo is clean and gives you all the perks of home I was very impressed and really felt like I was on a special vacation when we opened the refrigerator and found a small cooler bag with Hawaiian treats. There were 4 chilled glasses and a welcome bottle of champagne-it made us feel invited. Little things like thick towels, a boogie board and sand toys were very nice. Dawn for the kitchen sink and Tide pods for the wash instead of cheap generics were supplied. Even a real orchid on the patio with very nice Hibiscus deferring from the parking lot and a garden view from the master suite. Grills were at the nearby pool. A pleasant path leads you to Poipu Beach. It is very close to Long's drug store and a preppy shopping/eatery area. Snorkeling at Lawai, 0.7 miles down the road we saw a seal sunning itself and a sea turtle eating off the ocean floor. There are not many air conditioned units, but this unit has one and it was appreciated. The roosters get very loud if your windows are open all night. ##### Ann G. They even provided a late checkout, with a fee, because we had a late flight. So glad the unit had A/C. Now the negatives. You live with the folks in the unit above. You hear every foot step, every chair pulled out from under the dining table or patio chair and more. When you can sleep depends on when they go to sleep. When you wake is when they wake. The folks upstairs are not being obnoxious, they are just simply living and you hear it all. It made for a horrible experience and significantly impacted our first trip to Hawaii. We saw and experienced many beautiful sites and places, unfortunately our home base was the low point of our trip. Management did offer to refund the remaining nights of our stay, unfortunately we were unable to find a different place. If peace and quiet are important to you, I highly recommend looking elsewhere or a place on the second floor. ##### Patti R. The condo was within walking distance from the beach and short drive or walk to many restaurants. The condo had everything we needed for a day at the beach - beach towels, small cooler, 3 beach chairs. The reason I did not give it 5 stars is because the rental agency contacted me saying they were “wondering if it was ok with you if we could have maintenance pop in for about 5 minutes to take measurements for the fridge. If your not at the condo maintenance have their key to get in.” I told them I would prefer if we were there when maintenance entered and we would be back that evening. They replied “Aloha folks we do understand our maintenance leaves at 4pm today. perhaps they can come by tomorrow ? They start at 9am.” I missed this text because I was on a boat in the North Shore and the next morning I didn’t have cell service because I was hiking/ helicopter ride. I didn’t hear from them again for 2 days when they said “Wanted to inform you that our maintenance staff need to stop in today for about 5 minutes to get measurements for the refrigerator.” I replied with a time frame that worked for us and their response was “Our maintenance manager already went and got the measurements that he needed.” I was shocked. They already went in. Without our permission? What if we had been napping? We also had valauables sitting out. I thought this was VERY unprofessional. They could have at least informed us the hours the maintenance was going to stop by. If the measurements for the fridge had to happen during our stay they should have told me that in the first text. They made it seem like it didn’t have to happen, that they just wondering if it was okay. Also, they should have given us more scheduling info. We were out of the condo every morning by 6am for an activity and sometimes not back to the evening. The last thing you want to do on vacation is schedule time to be at your condo. Lastly, do not pay for the membership to the health/beach club (unless you have kids). We went one time and it’s basically a children’s playground. The pool is outdated and not as nice as the pictures make it seem. We didn’t try the workout classes but they did look fun. ##### Callie H. The bedrooms were large and beds very comfortable. A big plus was the air conditioning. Linens and towels were in very good condition and enough for the unit. Washer and dryer worked well plus enough hangers and laundry basket. Table top ironing board and iron included.Kitchen had everything you would need in term of dishes,pots etc. No condiments but salt and pepper. The unit provided a few beach chairs,coolers and frozen icepack. The sofa cushions were not comfortable and moved around a lot when sitting on them. Outdoor deck was nice but the cushions needed a good cleaning. Slider door was extremely difficult to open and close.Time for a upgrade. Entry way mechanism was tempermental time for upgrade. My husband and I stayed there with our two teenage boys. Clean is a must for me, and this place was great. The kitchen was well-stocked. It lacked for nothing that I needed to prepare meals. The thoughtful extras, like boogie boards, beach chairs and umbrellas were so nice. The welcome treats were the cherry on top. We would absolutely book this place again!! ##### Danny B.
