Great view of the ocean and sunsets Loved the calming sounds of the ocean and watching many birds especially the parakeets in the palm trees. The apartment supplied more than expected, i.e. beach chairs, ice chest, snorkeling equipment, and beach towels. Overall an exceptionally pleasant stay. ##### mike h. The condo had everything you needed for cooking and the beach supplies were a nice touch. We loved the location and how it was walking distance to Beach House next door. We loved how the condo was close to Koloa town, shops and many restaurants and food trucks. We enjoyed the surrounding beaches in Poipu and snorkeling was great at Poipu beach. Many things provided for enjoying the beach, thoughtful extras like a bottle of champagne, some toiletries and sunscreen, speaker, etc. and a very comfy bed. But our favorite thing was sitting on the patio all evening watching the near full moon rise over the water. A little bummer that the road is visible on your left, people occasionally walk by, and the area nearest to it isn’t really for swimming easily but for this price range it was a very wonderful choice and we’re glad we chose it. ##### Roy B. Our only issue was all the foot traffic continually walking right by the patio. Early morning with people with their surfboards and afternoon with their coolers/chairs to watch the sunset. Appears to be a very popular path with the locals or visitors. It's a narrow path between the patio and the water so people are very close to you when they stroll by. ##### Freda I. From the moment that my husband and I walked into this lovely condo, we felt like we were in paradise. Gentle waves and turtles could be seen from the wall of windows. My husband loves to cook and he was impressed by the well equipped kitchen. The king bed was very comfortable and we were thankful for the shampoo and conditioner in the updated shower. Kuhio Shores condos are in an ideal location. The grounds are well kept, and the sunrise and sunset views were spectacular. The condo is beautifully furnished with a tropical theme and a lovely collection of artwork. The hosts have thought of everything a visitor might need or desire including a chilled bottle of champagne, binoculars, beach chairs, coolers, beach towels, and scuba gear. The kitchen is well appointed and the split system air conditioner was a huge bonus. The owners and the property exceeded our 5 star expectations. We look forward to returning. ##### Ann C. The apartment is beautiful and extremely well equipped. I loved being able to just go around the corner for a snorkel in the mornings at the nearby beach. It is not a sandy beach to spend the day at, but quite good for snorkeling, and amazing to have within a two minute walking distance. Communication with Karen both before and during our stay was excellent, and she was super accommodating, helpful and went above and beyond to make sure we had a great time. When we mentioned that some snorkeling equipment was missing (presumably previous guests lost or took it), she offered to pay for rental equipment, and the next morning Stasea (the on-island contact person) stood in our door with two brand new snorkeling sets! We slept really well in the comfortable bed, and I suspect this is one of the few apartments in Kauai where you can sleep in if you want and won't be awoken by wild roosters at 5 am. The detailed instructions and recommendations in the guest folder along with the provided travel guides (including a latest edition one) were very helpful in making the best of our time on the island. Thank you for everything, we really enjoyed our time here and highly recommend this apartment. ##### Hendrik K. Amazing view from the kitchen and the patio was a perfect place for coffee in the morning and an adult beverage in the evening. It was also a great area to view sea turtles swimming in the bay. Great spot on the west side of the property for snorkeling and catching a beautiful sunset. Walking distance to a good little shave ice spot and the Beach House restaurant was top notch. The condo was perfect size for 2\. The air conditioner in both rooms was a big plus. There was already bug spray, sunblock, snorkel gear, chairs, cooler, shampoo, conditioner, etc. which was super helpful. Only negative was we only had 4 bath towels for 2 people for 7 days. Also, pads for the outdoor chairs would make sitting out there for hours more comfortable lol. But those things wouldn’t stop me from staying here again. We loved it! ##### Ryan A.
