More local vibes than resort Our stay at this property was incredible. If you’re looking for a not as commercial/ resort vibe on Kauai, this is your place! We came for the last leg of our honeymoon and it did not disappoint. The sunrise and sunsets are beautiful, had an amazing snorkeling spot, turtles coming up right outside of our porch, watching surfers every night on the lawn, and the best restaurants in walking distance or just a short drive away. We would suggest leaving more basic cooking supplies and spices for guests. (i.e.: foil, plastic wrap and zip lock bags, oil, etc) Comes in handy and guests don't have to go out and purchase whole boxes or bottles) for minimal use. We were able to sit on the lanai eating dinner one night watching sea turtles. We also were able to walk to some shops and get some delicious ice cream! Location was great! Only complaints: there were some areas of thick dust in the bathroom and the walls are very thin. We had a very noisy neighbor one night that really destroyed our sleep. ##### CASSI S. Great central location. We enjoyed watching the young surfers who took advantage of a swell. We could hear chairs moving in condo above us. But it was on rare occasions and didn’t bother us. The beach next door is not the best for swimming as there are many rocks. There are lots of beaches nearby. Our favorites, though, were on the north shore. We really enjoyed our stay!
