"It was a pleasant surprise! The hotel is newly opened and rooms are fresh. The staff are very friendly, especially Assistant Manager Abhey, Jayan, and the restaurant team. They made me feel like a home. The cooked home made food, even I made a special request to cook Kerala’s famous kheer! It was amazing.
The hotel is just 5 mins from the beach. Every morning I woke up and walk to the beach. The Varkala cliff is 10 mins walk. Everything was near by. 10 from Railway station by auto.

"Most things were really good! Great proximity to the beach and cliffside. Great rooms, nice property, good food, helpful staff.
The wifi is unusable. Terrible connection, keeps dropping even in areas with good connection, makes the smart TV useless.
Other minor problems:
Shower gel is only enough for 1 person/1 shower, have to keep asking them to replace it.
Staff woke us up in the afternoon despite a DND sign on the door.

"We were a honeymoon couple and we were not given the category of room which we had asked for and booked for- floating room. Whilst booking we had called the hotel that we particularly want the floating room when booked with expedia but not given. Even the staff is lousy. Expedia staff kept calling the hotel but the night Reception staff kept hanging their phone without answering and finally kept the phone aside.spoiled our honeymoon plans. "
