Very nice and cosy old style hotel. Excellent breakfast and free coffe in the lobby area. The only service I can complain about is the wifi-signal at the third floor.

The hotel is very conveniently located in the heart of town opposite the railway station. The area is quiet apart from a few party goers walking past. The building itself needs refurbishing, in particular the lobby, but the room and the bathroom was good. The staff and the breakfast was wonderful.

Working there, 60 plus years ago it's always sad to experience the different From being one of the premier hotels , restaurant and bakery in the country to what It had become. However, the staff was friendly and helpful,both in the restaurant and front desk. I will probably be back, due to my connection with the hotel.

Old fashioned and cosy hotel. They need a slightly better vaccuum cleaning because there were dust on the top of the mirror frame and on the center lamp in the room. Otherwise a nice room.

Vinduet i værelse 320 trænger til renovering. Vinduet var svært at lukke. Det varme vand vandhanen var ikke særligt varmt. Fejningen foran hotellet kunne have været bedre.

Overordnet fint nok👌

Morgenmad var ok, dog havde scramble eggs fået alt for meget. Sengene var for os at se ikke de bedste, men det må være en smagssag. Hotellet er af ældre dato, hvilket tagvinduerne på øverste etage bar præg af samt elevatoren og badeværelset. Serviceminded personale, hotellet ligger centralt, lige overfor banegården.

OK start - elendig afslutning

Vi ankom sent på hotellet, men med hjælp fra 2 søde unge piger blev vi hurtigt tjekket ind og alt gik nemt. Ved ankomst til værelset, bemærkede vi at det var ret koldt, men da vi skulle meget tidligt op (afsted 4:30), gik vi hurtigt i seng og fik derved varmen. Værelset var lille, men pænt og rent og sengene var fine. Så langt så godt. Vi stod op kl. 4:00, og havde kun tid til et kort bad inden afgang, men her gik det galt. Trods at vandet løb 4-5 min., var det ikke i nærheden af at blive varmt - lunken i bedste fald. Så vi måtte af tidsmæssige årsager droppe badet. På vej ud mødte vi den unge mand der havde nattevagten og var ved at gøre kaffen klar. Vi påtalte det med vandet, hvis ikke for andet, så for at det kunne blive ordnet. Men vi fik blot et flabet svar om at vi bare kunne være kommet ned om aftenen, så have de byttet værelset til et andet. På trods af, at vi gjorde ham opmærksom på, at vi først opdagede det om morgenen, var der ikke noget forståelse eller blot en undskyldning. Vi havde sådan set ikke regnet med en kompensation for dette, men en mere imødekommende attitude havde hjulpet. Så vi tog derfra med en klar holdning om at benytte andre hoteller når vi overnatter i Kolding - hvilket vi jævnligt gør. Fejl kan opstå, men dårlig kundeservice er IKKE i orden.
