"Property is a nice place. The service was very slow and bad. Checked in and was told there is a power failure, power will be up in 20mins and after an hour, power is not up yet. Checked in the room for stay with my sister, was only given one bath towel in the room. There is no amenity (shower gel n shampoo) TOP up on day 2\. "Rooms are small, half the size of other 5 star hotels. Bathroom is tiny, hardly any space. Hot water tends to run out after 10 minutes. Very unusual for a hotel of this reputation. Expedia also promised a $50 voucher for VIP access when I purchased the room. The hotel said this was not communicated to them, and Expedia said they cannot honour after I arrived at the hotel. Won’t be booking with them again. The only good thing was the beach was close to the hotel and easy access. Staff were excellent and very friendly too "

"Our room was on the third floor with an amazing view over Mirrisa beach. The hotel is up a steep slope with quite a few steps and no lift. I loved the hotel design features with interesting lighting and features of older buildings. Breakfast is a la carte but with plenty of fruit, 1 slice toast 1 cake and a choice of hot food eg omelette. The pool is lovely but there are a limited number of beds. It is a 5 minute walk to the beach with plenty of restaurants, bars and sun loungers. Unfortunately there is a building being built right in front of the hotel blocking the sea view for the lower floors and the restaurant. This was quite noisy and drilling did disturb the peace. It's not clear how high this will end up but if you want a sea view from your room choose the highest floor. "

"A beautiful boutique hotel that makes for a wonderful haven from the chaos on the streets. Beautiful rooms, restaurants, pool and facilities. Food at both restaurants great and the rooftop Japanese restaurant was magnificent. Would definitely return to this hotel and recommend it to others."
