Toyoko Inn Kofu Station Minami 1
Staff was friendly, but the kiosk to check-in felt less warm than a normal check-in. Room was clean and neat, the bed was hard which I've heard is possible for Japanese rooms. A bit odd that the best way to walk there from the train station was to walk through a large park, but it was fine.

We had a poor experience with their free shuttle as we waited 45 minutes at the station prior to pick up, but the shuttle never came. I rate this hotel pretty high but the only thing I didn’t like was the bed. The bed was pretty hard for my body and only one pillow. Everything else was good.
