I stayed at this guest house back in 1999 and returned this year. It is such a nice place! They have a talking parrot and you can feed the birds on the back deck. We stayed in a very nice cottage on the property with access to the pool. It was lovely !!! I highly recommend!

Charming guest house

Rooms are very lovely - beautiful decor and extremely clean and comfortable. The staff is very friendly and Patrick gave us the best recommendations for what to do around town and along the garden route. Breakfast and coffee are very delicious! I would highly recommend this guesthouse.

Breakfast was disappointing

Disappointing breakfast. We have stayed in many B&B’s in S Africa and have always had a cooked breakfast. We found most of the buffet food finished by the time we arrived at 8.30.

An adorable sustainable stay

The lodge is very comfortable and has an amazing sustainable concern. The staff is lovely, the breakfast good and the room very spacious. The only issue was that the room had those 'clarity holes' on the roof and it wouldn't get dark to sleep in the morning.

Quiet retreat at the back of Kynsna

This B&B is a very decent option in this relaxing town, with so much to do in the area. The place is not very big - only around 7 rooms, I think. The owners and receptionist tried their best to help us around, but we did not have much time, as we were driving along the coast. Hotel was clean, very quiet, and located only a few minutes drive from the town centre. Breakfast was also good.

Great find in a pretty area.

We had a lovely stay at Stannards. Patrick and his staff were accommodating and friendly. We loved the room we were in (one of the cottages) and enjoyed the opportunity to make our own dinner in the kitchenette. The bed was beyond comfortable and the bathroom was wonderful with the rain shower. All very clean and lovely!
