A Definite Dissappointment.

We booked a b&b per the promotion but were told on arrival it was bed only. Manager did provide breakfast on first morning. Bed was awful, manager claimed it had new matress but it was very obviously not. Room lighting was poor, not possible to read by it. Very noisy due to many barking dogs and large bus engine started up at about 3:30 am close by.. At least the toilet facilities were acceptable but the sliding door came off rail. Fridge froze all food solid overnight. They did change our frozen fruit salad though. Huge and dangerous step up to access room.

Na chegada toquei a campainha conforme indicado o interfone aparentemente não funcionava e demorou para aparecer uma funcionária para me atender, abrindo o portão. O estabelecimento fica em um lote com bastante desnível e a rua fica acima. Eles possuem vagas para estacionamento interno e fornecem o controle do portão juntamente com a chave do apartamento. O quarto é bom, mas a porta ficava prendendo na madeira abaixo, o que torna difícil abrir e fechar a mesma. A localização é razoável, ficando cerca de 2 km da região com maior quantidade de restaurantes e a 4 km de outra grande atração, The Heads. O café da manhã não estava incluso e solicitam 24h de antecedência para solicitar, acabei não usando esse serviço. De qualquer maneira é um bom custo X benefício

Der Besitzer hat uns sehr freundlich empfangen und über Unternehmungen informiert. Es gab ein gutes Frühstück in einem sehr stilvoll eingerichteten Raum. Das Haus lag in einer gepflegten, sicheren Umgebung. Wir würden es sofort wiieder wählen und können es jedem empfehlen.

We were staying at the bottom room, there was lot of noise foot steps from above and we ended up not to sleep at all the first day. The bed we slept on was so hard it is really needs to be changed.Not to mention the toilet seat..very old has dirty marks and stains. I had to shorten my days for 2days instead of 3.

Misleading advertising

The advert says that rooms are airconditioned, ours certainly was not. The domestic helper told us none of the rooms are airconditioned. The heat was stiffling and we had to make do with a fan which did absolutely nothing. We booked for a family of four, when we got there we were told that they had no four sleeper rooms. The manager/owner said that he noticed that the reservation was for a four sleeper but as it said we had kids he did not "bother" to let us know. Both the kids had to sleep on the most uncomfortable roll out beds.the white bedding was so discoloured it looked grey. when we asked for pool towels we were given 2, thats all they had to spare. the owner said it was preferable if we used our own if we had them. Who carries their own towels on holiday? At the rate we paid it was an absolute waste of money.

The family room allocated to us was sub standard. We had to duck our heads to get into the basement room and could not walk under a light fitting without hitting our heads. The linen was old and stained. We did however receive a very warm and friendly welcome.
