Anniversary Getaway
Loved everything about this wonderful little house in the woods. We enjoyed the peace and quiet while relaxing on the front porch or by the fire pit. We visited Harpers Ferry and Antietam Battlefield during our stay and had the best time. Bonnie and George were great hosts. They suggested things to see and do in the area. They thought of everything when deciding to open up their home for others to enjoy. Would like to stay again in the future, especially during the fall season.

Peaceful retreat
This retreat in the woods was spectacular in its peacefulness and cleanliness. It was made even better by Bonnie, who arranged and payed for a hotel night stay when the power was out on our arrival by no fault of the owner. You simply can't go wrong with this kind of care and attention to detail in such beautiful surroundings!

Peace and quiet
George and Bonnie have created a home away from home with all their thoughtful “extras”. If you’re looking for a place off the beaten path, yet close to historic places in the area, this is the place. We hope to come back again and hopefully the weather will cooperate so we can have a fire. This home was one of the best we’ve stayed in.

Beautiful and peaceful
The property was very clean and very quiet. It was close to everything we wanted to do but loved to see nature. The first morning we saw a box turtle but we saw deer all the time. Would definitely rent it again.

Little house in the woods
My husband and I stayed here for a couple nights to bike the C & O trail. If you are looking for a nice clean quiet place to stay, look no further! We appreciated the thought that was obviously put into this accommodating little retreat. We had everything we needed and then some! Thank you so much!
