"What a great stay! The hosts were incredibly kind and went above and beyond to ensure we were happy including picking us up and dropping us back at the train station. The apartment itself is beautiful and has everything you could need to be comfortable. We wish we had added another day to our trip just to stay in the apartment and look out over the vineyards. Hannelore pointed out a good restaurant just up the road for us to have dinner and a bakery for breakfast, both of which were amazing....

"Our 4 night stay in Trechtingshausen was everything we had hoped for and more. The house was spacious, immaculate and very well appointed. The garden is beautiful and provides immediate access to a network of hiking trails that are well worth the effort. We rented e-bikes in nearby Bingen and cycled along the Rhine and into the nearby neighbouring towns, vineyards and historic sites. "We stayed here last year on just the first floor however this year we rented both floors. Again a fantastic experience - the host is amazing and every detail is thought of before arrival. The property is well maintained - we will be back again!!"

"Wir (drei erwachsene ehemalige Schulfreundinnen) waren sehr zufrieden und haben uns super wohl gefühlt. Diese helle, freundliche Ferienwohnung ist großzügig geschnitten, sauber, gut ausgestattet und gemütlich eingerichtet. Jede von uns hatte ein eigenes Schlafzimmer. However as the former guests had vacated the apartment several days earlier the building’s heating system was turned off, and only turned back on once we checked in. As the apartment is on the ground floor and a large portion is below ground in this lovely old building the apartment never really warmed up. Combined with warm Autumn days and cold nights the heating shut down during the day and never reached a comfortable temperature in the evenings. A...

"Wir können uns den vorherigen Rezensionen nur anschließen. Die Ferienwohnung mit dem wunderschönen Freiluftzimmer ist liebevoll eingerichtet und sehr sauber. Die Vermieter waren immer auf eine angenehme Weise um unser Wohlbefinden bemüht (danke nochmal für die Feigen und Trauben). Ein kleiner ungewöhnlicher Ausflugstipp von uns ist die Felsenerimitage bei Bretzenheim. Sehr beeindruckend. Wir hatten eine sehr schöne Woche. Frank und Monika"

"We had a rental car, but there are two bus stops close by which would be great for those who need public transportation. The apartment is up two flights of stairs, so that needs to be noted for those with mobility issues. Otherwise our stay was very pleasant. We appreciated the free WIFI and the coffee maker! The owner responded quickly to questions."
