Fick inga uppgifter om incheckning förens sammadag strax innan inchecknings tid 16:00. Nyckeln som skulle ligga i nyckelskåpet låg inte där, vi hitta den av en händelse ovan på skåpet. Trevligt bostadsmråde. Stora ytor i lägenheten. Tyvärr väcktes vi mitt i natten av någon som bankade på dörren. Ungdomar som förde ett himla liv halva natten,...

Hotel Prinzenpalais Bad Doberan

Bad Doberan

8/10 Good

The situation was good and the hotel pleasant. Staff downright rude - we asked where the bar was for pre-dinner drinks only to find they'd locked it up within 10 minutes of asking. Presumably they didn't like the thought of seven men having a drink despite the fact that all in their sixties or seventies. We were then offered to be served drinks outside but no-one came in 15 minutes so we took our business elsewhere. We will not be returning to this establishment which is a pity as a pleasant...

Hanse House Wismar

Old Town Wismar

10/10 Excellent

Wismar is a friendly, beautiful little town, and wherever we turned people were helpful and happy to make your time special. The Hanse House (in English - don't know why) fits therefore right in: There are the little extras like the modern bicycles for just €15/day, a common / business meeting room with comfy sofas and free tea. Breakfast is standard and absolutely ok, but if you want something romantic and a bit special head to Cafe Glücklich, or for a nightcap around the corner micro - brewery...
