"Lovely vintage cottage with little touches that make you enjoy the stay. Like a dark washcloth that says Makeup!, paper cups in bathroom and coffee pods, sugar and creamers. Everything you need. One suggestion, driveway is on a curve and easy to miss! May want to slow way down at you pass 830 mailbox as 838 is coming soon!"

"We’d stayed at this property in the past, and on our return trip it did not disappoint. Lovely location, easy walk to an uncrowded beach. The amenities were super, particularly the pool and hot tub. The only difficulty was having to leave at the end of our week’s stay."

"This is a very nice place. It is very well appointed and spacious. The home is as represented and has alot of nice extras like a pool and a hot tub. It is in a good location and easy walking distance to the beach and restaurants. Be aware that you have to coordinate linens and all the minor supplies for the house. You will also have a check out list of cleaning items. Overall, a great place!"

"It was our second year at the house. It is cozy and as described. Nice, private neighborhood and beach. It could use new appliances and a more thorough cleaning but we had a great stay overall. We will be back next year!"

"The house is great and is well stocked in the kitchen, bathrooms, coffee bar and extra beach gear. Location was good for distance to the beach, and donuts and pizza plus more within walking distance. Linens provided were good quality. For my family, the location was quiet but the area overall was busier that we prefer. We'd never been to Kitty Hawk before, but it also allowed us to do more central and northern activities. Overall a very nice house that met our needs."

"House is great although it could have used a better cleaning. Screen doors will not stay in place, they fall out when opening. Terrible problem with ants in kitchen and downstairs table and bedroom. You cannot place food on counters. Actually found a couple ants in my car when I got home. I would definitely stay there again but the house just needs some work."

"Very old and dark. Clean. I mistook the two minute walk to the beach to mean it was on the beach. Couldn’t hear or see the ocean from this house."

"Overall this property is in a great spot with easy beach access. The house is a bit dated but everything was clean and in proper working order."

"The home was very clean and organized. The community was quiet and relaxing and we were very close to two beaches. Hillcrest Beach is our new fav spot. As a family it was nice to have puzzles, games and books during our down time between activities. Definitely recommend and everything was in order. Also communication of needed information from owners was very much appreciated. Could not have asked for a better beach experience."

"Location location location! We rented this place last minute with 2 dogs in tow. The proximity to the beach is less than a block with a public access at the end of the street. The house is older and amenities basic, but for us it was just right."

"The only issue we had was with the little burrs (I guess that’s what’s their called) that kept finding their way inside the property. Very painful to step on. Other than that, we were very pleased with our stay here in Kitty Hawk."
