"A little gem in Scotland all off grid and powered by solar and wood burners. Excellent deco and facilities with no 3 pin electric socket so no tv and the perfect place to chill and relax especially in the wood fired hot tub. Gordon had it all fired up and by the time we had stoked it too the thermostat was showing 90 degrees and we sat like prunes for 2hrs even when it rained and sleeted it didn’t ruin the relaxation of sitting their looking over the countryside to Loch Lomond. Great hotel in a fantastic location
"Great hotel. Really enjoyed our stay. Room was very comfortable, great to have an extra bed. Bathroom was of a very high standard. Enjoyed cocktails, ambience and service in the hotel bar. Only criticism was check in desk halted our check in to take a call from a new corporate booking (yes i could hear all the details) and we were then kept waiting for approx 10 minutes. This is rude. Overall excellent, we would return! "
