Hotel needs some TLC. Carpets showing obvious signs of wear. No air conditioning. Shower head loose and unable to adjust. Shower control fell off. Ragged edge on control handle caused a cut on finger. Room door ‘rattled’ loudly as it had too much play. Poor nights sleep. Breakfast poor quality, buffet cool.
Generally overpriced for quality delivered.
Made my dissatisfaction known to reception, was told ‘it is an old property’.

Blythewood House was absolutely amazing. The house is decorated to a high standard and the open plan design was perfect for a large group. The house has all you need.
We had brilliant weather and so the garden, hot tub and games room was well used. The hot tub and BBQ area was well heated and so even in colder days it’s perfect. The area itself was also great, a local park, shop and pub all about a 2 minute walk away. Everyone had a brilliant time.
