This home has an open floor plan that includes beautiful panoramic views of the water from every room of the house, ceiling fans in all rooms, and casement windows to let in the breeze. Three bedrooms, 1.5 bathrooms with a dual system central air and heat. The spacious kitchen with bar and central island opens into the breakfast area with a waterside living room and game area equipped with ping pong table for game nights. Master bedroom has a nursery nook overlooking the water. The backyard has a large firepit and a two level pier, 2 ft MLW perfect for your kayaks and small fishing (jon) boats. Crabbing and fishing from your private pier is great. We bring hand lines to crab and in 5 days caught 70+crabs. They were delicious. The fishing is fun for the kids. The windows that surround the house to see the water from two views is beautiful. The only down side is that there is only one full bathroom, but we knew that when we booked. There was an issue with the door lock, but once we got a hold of the property manager who connected us with the owner and it was taken care of quickly and easily. The home was absolutely perfect for our group! We had so much fun. We crabbed, we fished, we played games, ping pong, foosball and we watched a meteor shower on the dock. It was one of those vacations where we all got to reconnect and just focus on being together. It was comfortable and the host provided extra bedding and cots, which allowed the kids to spread out. My only complaint really is the knifes provided do not have a sharp edge, so if you're planning to prep meals, bring your own knife from home. The house was spacious and clean. It was well-stocked with games, movies, and books. The back deck was a peaceful place to be in the mornings, in the sunshine, with a view of the river. The kitchen had an assortment of items - we would have appreciated some tupperware, or tin foil/cling wrap, as we had no way of storing leftovers appropriately between meals.
