8.6/10 Excellent! (1,369 reviews)
The staff is very kind and welcoming. The facilities and room were clean. Access to the bus was excellent (several just a few steps away); for the tube, it's a 10 minute walk. Having a second room with a kitchenette made the stay more pleasant. The beds were comfortable. However, the bathroom has a barn door and it about a foot away from one of the twin beds. The light switch is outside the door which means that there is no way to avoid shining a light on everyone if you use the facilities at night. The laundromat was a great add but was extremely crowded. Breakfast had a wide variety of foods but was busy and chaotic. There are only 2 elevators for over 100 rooms which means long waits in the am between people going for breakfast &/or check-out.

It was fine. Nice breakfast. Quite small rooms and narrow corridors.

"We had to move rooms initially as the wall heater had been left on and it was uncomfortably hot, plus there was a really bad smell (although the room looked cean). Hotel staff helpful and assigned new room without any fuss. Main negative is that half the hotel does not appear to have a lift so we ..."
