Shower Room: Cubicle Shower, Toilet. Oil central heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi included. Rear garden with covered patio, barbecue and garden furniture. Private parking for 3 cars. No smoking. Please note: Couples, families and holidaymakers only.. Sitting in a quiet residential area of the village of Shouldham in the heart of the Nar Valley, East View offers views across the rolling fields to the pretty church which is illuminated every evening. Spacious and very welcoming it has everything needed for a lovely holiday. With all accommodation arranged across the ground floor this light and airy property accommodates four guests and has a contemporary shower room. It boasts a separate living room to relax in and the large, well-equipped kitchen is open plan to the dining room, making for a lovely sociable cooking experience. There is an addition of a conservatory with further seating and a pretty, enclosed garden with a well-kept lawn and a partially covered patio area with a barbeque. Even the front garden is inviting with well-established trees and a large lawn, making your shoulders relax as you pull up and see that you are truly about to enjoy a restful break.
The village itself is very historical and is mentioned in the Doomsday book but venture a little further and you will find yourself in an area immersed in history with the Sandringham, Houghton and Holkham Estates, Peckover House, Oxburgh Hall, Castle Acre, Castle Rising and the Hanseatic Quarter of Old Kings Lynn all waiting to be explored. Those looking for great walks and wildlife experiences will also be spoilt for choice with Welney Wetlands, RSPB Snettisham, Denver, Blackborough End and Thetford Forest with Go Ape and High Lodge all within easy reach. Shouldham Woods is less than a mile from the cottage itself and offers lovely walks and safe cycle routes too. And you can be on the stunning North Norfolk coastline in half an hour, where you will discover wide sandy beaches, rolling sand dunes, stripy cliffs, salt and clay marshes, creeks, harbours and quays, all ready to boost those lovely holiday snaps. In fact, you’ll find so much to see and do in the area that you’ll soon be back just to fit it all in. And when you are, you are sure to return to welcoming East View for another great holiday. Beach 18 miles. Pub and restaurant 350 yards.
