Tahoe Vista is a quiet North Shore community with a more relaxed vibe than South Lake. Steps from Lake Tahoe beaches and close to Kings Beach shops and restaurants.

Kings Beach: 5 minutes

Bears! Kindly avoid placing trash or food outside as there are bears in the area.

Garbage: Trash cans get picked up out of the bear bin next to the driveway parking early Wednesday morning. Please make sure all trash is in bags and in the plastic cans on Tuesday evening. Trash can not be outside of bags or outside of cans in the bear box. Make sure there is room between the cars on the driveway so that the bear box is accessible. Never leave any food-related trash inside the garage, or bears may break into the garage. Please don`t overfill the cans or leave trash in the garage. If the bear-box cans are full, message us and we`ll arrange an extra pickup.

Parties/Noise: In order to respect our quiet, family neighborhood and to adhere to Airbnb rules, we do not allow parties in the house (this includes birthday parties). Quiet hours are 10:00 PM to 8:00 AM. This is not a neighborhood for parties whatsoever.

Guests: Maximum 4. Please book with your full guest count.

Parking: Parking is only permitted in the driveway. Street parking is prohibited by the City of South Lake Tahoe and is ticketed.

Check Out: Checkout is 11:00 am. Late checkout isn`t available; if you need more time, message us before your checkout day. Please let us know the time you plan to check out so we can pass it on to the housekeepers. Before leaving, please put used dishes in the sink, gather used towels, put bagged trash in the bear-bin cans, turn off lights and lower the heat, close and lock all windows and doors (bears can open windows), and lock up.

Restrooms: Please do not flush anything but toilet paper down the toilet.

Smoking: Our house is a non-smoking home, please only smoke outside. No smoking or vaping of cigarettes or weed inside the house.

Candles: We do not allow candles in the home, this is a fire hazard.

Damage: We understand that accidents happen. Please let us know when something is broken so that we can replace or repair it. There is stain remover under the sink in the kitchen for the carpet and bedding.

Utilities: Lights/Heating: We kindly ask that you switch off lights and lower the thermostats when leaving the house.

Pets: Max 2 pets are allowed; please include them in your booking (the pet fee is charged at booking).

Furniture: Please do not rearrange furniture. We have had guests rearrange and damage the furniture. It is also difficult for our housekeeper to put it back where it belongs.

BBQ: Please scrape the BBQ and replace the cover after you use it. This is very important or bears will get to the BBQ.

Lost Items: Please do not forget anything in the home. We cannot package and ship things that are left behind.

Please do not unplug anything in the home. It is difficult for the next guest if lamps are unplugged, and there are items in the home that operate the door lock and doorbell. If you don`t know what it is, do not unplug it. Do not unplug the wireless router or modem or it will shut down the door lock and you may get locked out.
Wash any used dishes and start the dishwasher (we`ll put them away).
Start a load of towels (we`ll switch them to the dryer).
