A major snowstorm hit while we were there, which meant we spent far more time inside than planned. Thankfully, the house made that easy. The location is excellent, close to everything and on a quiet street. The kitchen is very well stocked, and we appreciated having several games available to keep everyone entertained while we were snowed in.A few areas could use improvement. The front door code is sent at the actual check-in time rather than in advance, which felt a bit uncomfortable (in the end, the code was sent a few hours early, on our drive up). There were also a handful of minor maintenance items that were broken and could be easily addressed. Storage is limited in the primary and bunk rooms, as there are no drawers or shelves for unpacking clothes. During the heavy snowfall, the private plowing service that was promised for the driveway did not come, but when we contacted the rental company, they responded quickly and resolved the issue.Overall, this is a comfortable home in a prime Tahoe location with plenty of space for a family, though it would benefit from a few updates and small fixes. ##### Katie P.
