Bit of a trek from car park to the rooms, even using the lift need to carry luggage or groceries up stairs.
Room doors are very heavy and 7 year old couldn't open them himself. Otherwise accommodation was comfortable and clean, with spectacular views.

The staff are lovely. Always helpful and kind. Breakfast is a little chaotic if too many people arrive at once.
Dinner in the North restaurant was fine. The waiter was excellent. My haddock special was superb but my wife’s chicken came undercooked, twice. There is no excuse for that.
The maintenance team need to do some work in the room to fix a few faults, which I did mention to reception.
Overall I was happy with my stay.

"The room smelt very badly of damp and the walls were very stained. The smell was so bad it caused breathing problems. I was unable to stay in it as it was causing me to wheeze. The owner wasn't present and so j had to wait for his return. He said he was unable to provide another room and would refund ..."

"We booked this hotel last minute. It was a great spot to stop for the night. The bar was great! We had some nachos and drinks (they make a great mojito). Parking was not ideal as the lot was small so it took us a bit to find a spot. Overall it was a good stay!"
