Watching eagles soar right out window, nest very easily spotted with the binoculars provided, was a highlight. Lake is beautiful and cottage feels like a good friends place, super welcoming."

"This property is beautiful and the cottage was immaculately clean. We had everything we needed for a relaxing getaway with kids and dog. We hiked the nearby hydro Palmer Rapids portage route every day. The kids cold plunged in the river and then warmed up by the bonfire. The river itself is majestic at this spot and the view from the cottage sofa and the screened-in porch was excellent. Kellie and Florencia were easy to get ahold of and answered any question we had. "We very much enjoyed our stay. Cottage was comfortable and the front lawn was great for playing games. We took advantage of the area's attractions such as local antique car show, biking, hiking and the Bonnechere caves. The lake is very clean and clear and was great for swimming. I would recommend the provision of a microwave and bath towels to make it even better. Overall was a great value."

It was really easy to communicate with her. The lodge is completely independent but if you need something, you just cross to the main house where Maria stay. The place was clean, all furnished, fully equipped (tv, books, board games) and just renovated. The garden is really beautiful and we just take a walk with my kid to see...
