Ocean Views, Poolside Tiki Bar, Hot Tub, and More! Welcome to Oceans 24 by KEES Vacations! Nestled in the heart of Kill Devil Hills, this 24-bedroom oceanfront home on the Outer Banks is an absolute showstopper! Equipped with 20 King En Suites, four custom-built bunk suites, and 25 bathrooms, there is enough room in this home to comfortably sleep 60 people. The artfully designed interior and top-notch amenities in this OBX rental are incredible! The private, oceanfront heated pool is complemented by a covered tiki bar, an oceanfront sundeck and two, eight-person hot tubs. The first level hosts a 16-seat theater room, a Foosball table, and a 9-foot indoor Shuffleboard. Two billiards tables, a poker table, a ping pong table, arcade games, and two wet bars are thoughtfully positioned within the home to allow for multiple groups to spread out and enjoy the amenities. Ocean views from this vacation home are gorgeous and the dune-top deck is perfect for watching the tides change. Large enough to hold an event, this house features a butler pantry ideal for catering services, accordion doors that open to the fourth level ocean-facing deck, and a fenced-in yard perfect for entertainment purposes. No need to leave behind your furry vacationers, as Oceans 24 is also pet-friendly! Offering the KEES FlexStay program, you are able to choose your own vacation check-in or check-out dates at no additional cost! With so much to do at the home, the surrounding area also lends much to do outside, too! Positioned well-within driving distance to local and national attractions, day trips to surrounding islands, both fine and laid-back cuisine as well as shopping, reserving Oceans 24 is akin to having a private resort at your very own fingertips! This property has 24 parking spots for guests. Want added comfort? Consider adding the Heated Pool option! A Heated Pool option can be added upon request for $100 per night of your reservation. This fee is added to your reservation at the time of the request, which must be a minimum of 72 hours before arrival. Pool heat must be added for the entirety of your stay. This pool is heated by a heat pump. An ambient air temperature of 60 degrees or higher is needed to heat the pool, meaning that if the temperature drops below 60 degrees the pump will not continue to heat. Max pool temperature is 80 degrees.\*\* \*\*Private heated pools will open on April 1st and close on November 1st. Hot tubs are open year-round. Pools and hot tubs are cleaned weekly and no later than 6pm on check-in day. Vendors are subject to enter the backyard to clean the pool and/or spa on scheduled cleaning days. No pets allowed in pools.\*\* \*\*Oceans 24 is pet-friendly, so there is no need to leave your pooch at home! There were a few housekeeping and maintenance concerns that we reported when we arrived but it took a couple of days to get a reply - nothing major. The rooms were much smaller than expected from the photos which wasn't a huge deal but it was surprising and caused us to rearrange our room assignments a bit at the last minute. It easily accommodated our very large group and the pool and hot tubs were lots of fun. The only issue is that there was a wedding next to us in another house and they were loud and rude, and told us we could not be on the beach at the same time as them. Free time was spent using the amenities, vs. team members disappearing into their hotel rooms or a large resort. Perfect for building relationships and an overall team vibe. Dinners were catered in, and daily housekeeping helped us with trash removal, etc. It's also conveniently located next to the Wright Brothers National Park, which made for a great 90 minute break for the team. In addition we paid extra to have to pool opened, but the pool area was filthy. We spent the first evening cleaning. Disappointed to say the least. ##### Joyce C. Numerous things didn’t work . Kitchen appliances were terrible, not equipped for large party. Maintenance came to clean our pool , and told us they would be able to check it., and give ok to use, never returned. Elevator broke, and maintenance didn’t come to fix. We had handicapped individuals in our party that had to be carried down the stairs along with w/c. Several calls made, with no return calls. ##### Tiffany R. I reached out to the property manager prior to our visit with concerns from a review i read saying the grills were dirty and the sound system wouldn’t work, and was assured that neither were an actual problem, but the grills were honestly so gross and we had several tech-savy people try to hook up to the speakers with no luck. One of the dishwashers was full of dirty dishes and mold upon arrival. Underneath the beds were dusty and had items left from previous guests (socks, toys). several of our guests complained of no hot water in their room, and that their room got very hot at night. Other than that, the trip was great and beautiful weather. Comfortably fit our group of 50 with plenty of seating and space to play games. ##### Ashleigh D. The master bedrooms and kids' rooms were perfect. The gas stove was great in the kitchen and there were lots of refrigerators and a commercial ice maker (someone had removed the drawers from a couple of the refrigerators which we found in the pantry). None of the soap/shampoo dispensers in the showers worked. When we checked in, the windows facing the ocean were dirty with sand and spray--we cleaned them ourselves. The check-in information had the wrong wifi network and password, but there were sheets with the correct wifi information. One of the child-proof gates to the pool was broken and they did not fix it until Thursday even though we had several young children. There were two gas grills with full propane tanks. They were a little worn but worked fine after we cleaned them. We would go there again. ##### John Owen G. Wonderful living space, bedrooms are all very nice, game room, pool, etc - has it all. The company managing the property needs to do a much better job of cleaning the house and getting it ready for the next group coming in. The rental is from Saturday to Saturday, with check-in being at 4pm (pretty inconvenient) and check-out being at 10am. This leaves the cleaning crew 6 hours to get the house ready for the next group - which can be up to 60 people. When we arrived the team of 3 people was feverishly trying to get the house ready for us and still had the entire bottom floor to clean at 3:15pm - impossible task. The inside of the house was pretty clean, but all the outdoor spaces (patios, pool, pool deck, outdoor furniture, etc) were filthy. When I asked about this, they told me to call maintenance (my first of many calls). When calling Kees they often could not answer my very simple questions, and most of my requests were ignored until I called back a few times. The backyard is mostly just dirt, which is watered a few times a day (usually when we were walking to/from the beach) so it was actually mud and you couldn't not use it for anything, and was actually an obstacle to navigate when going to/from the beach. The property came with 2 charbroil propane grills which were not cleaned and very low quality. Shocking that someone would build a 24 bedroom home and opt for the low end grills. The stairs going over the sand dune to the beach was a bit tough to cross, especially at night because the lights don't work (no one could tell me how to turn them on). No one was able to explain or show us how to use the indoor/outdoor bluetooth speaker system, which would have been nice to have - instead we had to bring our own speaker everywhere we went - and just hopelessly gaze at all the speakers we couldn't get to work. We scheduled a midweek cleaning and at 5pm the cleaning crew still had not arrived - several angry calls got them their, but they were cleaning right in the middle of when were eating dinner, pretty annoying and it was something we paid extra for. All in all, the trip was amazing because we have amazing friends and the space itself is perfect for large groups. The management company can do a MUCH better job.
