The location and pool and overall property experience was great minus a few easy TLC repairs that are needed. It’s about a 8 minute walk to the public beach access, but we drove and parked most days. The king/queen unit is upstairs with the sleeper sofa and futon. Everything in the house is outdated, minus the pool. Communication with the owner was good. The AC unit downstairs wasn’t working properly the first day and a half so she had someone come look at it and they fixed it. I have to mention that it wasn’t as clean as I expected it to be, the couches in the downstairs apartment are obviously very worn and look like they need a good scrubbing. With that being said- she did let us in early and I had asked the cleaner if she was finished for the day and she told me she was. No one cleaned the pool the entire time we were there and it had sand in the bottom of it and other sorts of debris. The downstairs bathroom doesn’t have any blinds or a curtain in the window- they have a boogie board propped up outside of the window for privacy. ##### Sidney M. Allowed for some separation and privacy which was appreciated by all. The pool was also very nice and was well maintained, it was cleaned twice while we were there. The walk to the beach was quite a haul though but it was still doable. Some updates to appliances would really make this a great property. The communication with the owner was BEYOND my expectations. She replied immediately and was so friendly. She answered every question and promptly. We encountered some issues during our stay like cleanliness - the owner explained she will talk to cleaning lady and I don’t blame the owner for someone not cleaning her property correctly that’s out of her hands when she trusts someone to come in and clean. The AC broke downstairs but my husband fixed it thankfully or I’m not sure what we would have done with having babies in the house. The pool was awesome I love how it had a ledge all the way down the one side to sit on, worked great with children. The back yard in itself is spectacular.
