"Just back from a wonderful weekend break at Tor Na Coille. Lovely large room, very comfortable. Everything was thought off, bathrobes, a good hairdryer, iron and ironing board. I loved the decor in the public rooms. Very tastefully done. The food was amazing we ending up having dinner here both nights. Breakfast was also great. Plenty choice and all cooked fresh to order. All staff were very friendly and nothing was a bother. A special mention to the young bar man and the lovely receptionist. She went above an beyond. We will definitely come back. "

"Another visit for us to Banchory lodge this time with our new little dog. One arriving a dog bowl with a little bag of dog treats and a list of walks for us. The staff can't do enough for you ,made a fuss of our dog."

"This was a last minute decision to go away for the night and we stumbled upon the Boat Inn while working through Hotels.com. Great place to stay, good pub grub, lovely clean and smart room, dog friendly and very peaceful. The staff were brilliant. And they have EV charging!"

"The hotel is slightly old-fashioned, but that's a plus not a negative. The rooms have lots of character, with all the facilities you need but not in a standardised, soulless format as in so many modern chain hotels. The food is relatively simple but excellent, wholesome and obviously freshly-cooked. The breakfast selection is excellent and the service is cheerful and friendly. You'll enjoy your stay!"
