"It is old conex building. It would be nice to have small coffee pot and fridge in room. Stairs to breakfast are many so difficult to do but desk will go and get breakfast or drink for you. Perfer to do my own though"
"Had difficulty in the beginning. Expedia confirmed my stay but the hotel didn't get the information. The manager did her best to find it, and we finally got it resolved. Front desk staff very nice when checking in. We came with dogs, only $25 per dog was great. room 142 is right next to door to outside, huge plus. Problem is it's very loud, my mother said she couldn't sleep all night. Should put sign asking to close door quietly. I was exactly above her on 2nd floor and it's a lot noiser than newer hotels but I had no trouble sleeping. Everything in room was good. They even provide a little fan in the rooms which I loved. Huge TVs, I seen the gym but didn't use it. Free breakfast was great. They have decent bar and restaurant as well. Right next to a harbor so it was a pretty walk. Overall will definitely stay here again but would ask for different room then 142. Oh and they don't have an elevator which is huge negative if on higher floors. Beds were comfortable."
"Was a great property to stay at visiting Valdez. It is cozy and so well stocked and clean. Deanna was great about communication through out our stay ! I’d love to come back !!"
"Clean and comfortable. Great place to stay as you visit Valdez. House was well supplied with everything we needed. Nice seating areas inside and out. Bedrooms were comfortable and clean. Host was responsive. I would use this property again."
"This place is a gem! I took the ferry from Whittier to Valdez and got in late. The host was amazing at communicating with me and making arrangements for me getting in late. When I got there, he had a warm meal waiting for me (it was delicious!). The place was clean, bed was comfortable, I felt safe as a solo traveler, host had an amazing breakfast as well as a ton of local tips and suggestions. This far exceeded my expectations! The only reason there are not more reviews is because they just opened up! Will come again!"
"It was amazing. The view was spectacular. The hosts were very accommodating. The home was spotless and warm. Close to town. If I could give it more than 5 stars, I definitely would. "
