I’m so glad we found the Scarlet Mango Inn. The room was wonderful, with a sitting room and two balconies. The pool area was incredible. The time spent at the pool was a highlight because it was a little oasis. Most of all, the location was perfect right near Duval Street and centrally located between both ends. Boy did we chose the perfect place! What a nice warm, cozy, clean, top notch place to stay. We had everything we needed, bed was very comfortable, plenty of soaps, towels, coffee and some snacks. (For Dwell eyes only—-our only negative: when we arrived early at 1pm to put our bags in the lobby, we ran into the previous tenants of our room, who got a late 1pm checkout. The next day we asked for a 1pm checkout ourselves and were told this was not something they can do, as the room needed to be cleaned for the next guests. MY wife is very hard to please, but this place was the first place that she had no complaints about! They even took the time to choose different pillow types so you had options. These hosts though of everything. Reviewer Comments: This was our second stay at the Scarlet Mango Inn. Again it was almost flawless! Our suite was clean, bright, well appointed and a great place for us to relax in the few times we weren't traipsing around Key West. The location, right off Duval Street, is ideal for walking in virtually any direction to hit the hot spots and our favorite places - but the inn and area is pretty quiet at night so sleep is not interrupted. The complementary bubbly was most welcome and we enjoyed but the pool one afternoon. Our only suggestions, coming from the missus, is a make-up mirror and stool or bench in the large shower would be nice. These are not showstoppers, just feed back for the inn keepers.
