Great Location, Poor Everything Else
Excellent location. No water pressure in back bathroom shower and unusable kitchen. The furniture, including the beds, were unbelievably uncomfortable to the point of mostly not being able to lounge at all in the house itself. The hot tub was 50% functional. Generally not a nice house considering the cost. I’d recommend finding somewhere much nicer a little further out for the same price or less.

Great House / Terrible Property Manager
Great house, location and was very clean. The stove did not work, and I was promised a replacement stove which was never delivered. I called every day that we were there and spoke to numerous people who always promised me a call back with an update, but no one ever called back. Still waiting for a call to discuss a satisfactory resolution.

Great Location, but needs a Renovation
The location of this property was perfect! Just steps off of Duval Street, we could walk to everything! Easy, remote check in was very convenient. The place is cramped, but laid out well, and the hot tub was a treat. Small space for our car was appreciated. However, there clearly has been no reinvestment in this cottage for a long time. The floors are worn and dirty, as are the moldings and woodwork. The back deck is filthy, same with the window awnings. A little power washing would go a long way here. The place needs a facelift - redo the wood floors, update the furniture, replace the ancient TV, add some small dressers to the bedrooms (there were hangers, but no where else to put clothes). Update bathrooms towels. At $8,500 for the week, this property did not meet our expectations.

Beachy/Rustic Cottage in heart of Duval
Our short, but sweet stay was excellent! The property location is excellent and within walking distance to almost everything in the heart of Key West. The property itself, while small was a very rustic/authentic beach vibe and VERY clean and comfortable. We stayed two nights and had no issues. Love that they had three rooms with king beds, even though the house is relatively small. The room in the back can be closed off by a hallway door that limits noise from the little living room area off the front door which was nice. While the cottage is 'dated' in terms of the bathrooms, water pressure, etc. the listing was incredibly accurate and we were looking for this type/level of stay so it was absolutely perfect. You can park a vehicle parallel right in front as long as it is not too large, otherwise given we had two vehicles there was actually a free lot we found on Google that was less than an easy mile walk away at Fort/Olivia. We left one vehicle here the whole time with no issues.

Great location for key west
Great location on the south end of Duvall st, everything is walkable even at night. Listing was accurate, the property was clean, and the host was extremely quick to respond to any issues. 4 out of 5 stars only because we had some issues with the AC and the unit was 80 degrees at night when we came in after the first night but the host was quick to send an HVAC technician and supply a portable AC to help get us through the rest of the stay. Good location, would happily stay there again and while not a large property it was great for six people since we were only inside at night to sleep and explore the island during the day.

The property was clean and the beds were very comfortable. Only issue was not having the correct coffee filters so we ended up going out each morning to get coffee. Owner should supply the coffee filters especially given the special kind they take.

Absolutely perfect little house
The house was clean, decorated nicely, and the key pad on the door made entry super easy. The backyard was a nice feature as was the hot tub. Close to everything! It was the perfect place to stay, and will rent it again in the future.

We evacuated here from New Orleans after Ida. It reminded us of home - nice little shotgun house. Could use a fair amount of updating, but overall very nice. And great location.

This house was perfect. Though it was a small house, it had everything it needed for a fun weekend. My friends and I stayed here and found it to be comfortable, even with all beds taken up. It had all the resources needed, plenty of towels, and was CLOSE to all popular activities. Very short walk to southernmost point, short walk to all of the fun on Duval St, overall great experience.

Awesome property!!!
The location was a couple houses off of Duval street and was on the quiet side of the island with easy access to eating. The condition of the property was great!! We were able to bike everywhere we wanted to go and were able to leave our car parked in front of the house!! The only complaint I have is that the hot tub did not work the first 3 days we were there and we only got to use it the last day. I would recommend this property to any of my friends or family!!!

Comfy and convenient...
This little house did a great job of serving our purposes: great location - (my lord there was a rum bar 30 feet from our front door!) comfort (temperature control and nice beds promised good rest each night) and cleanliness (not to be confused with “newness” but we felt the place was well kept and very clean). The back patio was a nice hang out. Would’ve been nice to have a sixth chair since there were three couples but we made do. Management was great about contacting us and checking on us periodically. The kitchen was small, but gave us an opportunity to make breakfast and snacks most days. We would definitely stay there again. Thanks Vacasa! (3) 50+ couples from the Midwest

Rough around the edges
The place is in need of some serious TLC. The pictures representing this place are from long ago. The floors were really dirty. The outdoor shower was all rotted out. The jacuzzi cover was really dirty and covered with outdoor debris. Sadly we were disappointed. Honestly if we had seen the property beforehand we wouldn't have paid half of what we had paid.

Great location
Perfect location for our weekend getaway. Was able to walk anywhere we needed to go. Property was clean and comfortable. Nice to have 3 king beds when traveling with 3 couples. The only issue we had was that the washer and dryer that was advertised was not there. We called the management company and they agreed to pay for our laundry. We found a laundromat that picked up and delivered so it all worked out in the end. They refunded us some money for the trouble.

Loved the location! Just off Duval Street within walking distance to anything you'd want on Duval St. (Duval Street is about a mile long and the house is on the upper side about .2 mile from one side and .8 from the end of Lower Duval and Sunset Pier. Amenities were nice. I am happy if a house has hot water and a comfortable mattress which this house does. The poor house has deferred maintenance and lots of prior termite damage but it was clean, comfortable and in a perfect location.

Perfect for us with pets!!
Not too fancy, cozy and comfortable! I enjoyed the jacuzzi each night! The back yard is enclosed for doggies. But the weiner dogs were small enough to escape, a bigger dog would be fine! We were so close to Duval street. Restaurants and stores and bars within walking distance! I suggest renting scooters for quick easy transportation There is free scooter parking thru out the town. We left our rental van parked at the vacation house the entire time. And just used the scooters to get around!!! The kitchen is tiny but we didn’t cook anyway. We did make coffee each morning. The fridge is a good size for cases of water and snacks. The two front bedrooms with king size beds share a bathroom and then there’s a rear bedroom with king size bed and another bathroom across the hall for this bedroom! My son tried the couch bed which is not too comfortable when pulled out But then he just slept on the couch and was fine The AC worked great. We actually got cold, I didn’t know how to lower the temp. (Too busy to figure it out) The beds were comfortable. There were plenty of towels for all seven of us and bigger towels for the jacuzzi too! The parking spot in front of house is tight. But we managed to get the 12 passenger van up close to the porch. It worked out cause we just parked it and left it there. When we checked out we had to back the van out to duval street because Amelia st is a tiny dead end street so we were not able to turn the van around We all rented the scooters and there’s a gated section on side of house were the trash cans sit, We just stored the scooters there during the night!!! It is a cozy place for seven folks with doggies but we were in and out of there all day. And we’re gone doing excursions and shopping and riding scooters most of the time anyway!!! The kitchen only has two small electric burners. I would not suggest cooking huge meals!!! I was glad I wasn’t cooking for everyone!! Making sandwiches and eating chips would be fine!

Excellent access to Duval. Just enough off the path to have quiet. Charming, clean bedding and easy entry. Parking space was perfect as we walked the whole time and never got into car til traveling to go home.

Needs some updates
The pictures of the unit we stayed in looked quite a bit nicer than it actually was. The beds were all kingsized and comfortable but one night a large bug was found in the bed in the middle bedroom. Everything in the unit was sufficient...as we spent minimal time there. Living room furniture and bathrooms need updating, floors were in bad shape. Location was convenient and met our needs.

Check in great. Location great. It was clean. But needs maintance . Rotting windows. Shutters don't work. Rotted baseboard. Baseboards screwed in with rusty screws. Cieling fan didnt work. In bathroom. Def not for 8 adults. Living area is way to small to have a pull out. Should market it and price it as sleeps 6

Very convenient to everything
Small house but accommodated 3 couples well. Nothing fancy but you don’t come to key west to sit inside the house. Might fix the smoke alarm in back bedroom. Went off at 2am for no reason.

cute house convenient location
Great location at the quieter end of Duval Street but still in the action. Walking distance to the Southernmost point and right around the corner from the Rum bar, yum! Not a bad price at all for the rooms but I wouldn't recommend anyone sleeping on the pull out couch, it was not comfortable at all. Otherwise, great place!
