Kawama 3 bedroom townhouse--2 heated pools, marina, tennis, lagoon & much more!

Spacious 3 bedroom/3 bathroom townhouse M3 at Kawama Yacht Club. Come and relax at our beautiful home on mile marker 100 in Key Largo in a private, gated community with something for the whole family including 2 heated swimming pool, Tiki Hut area, playground, tennis courts, and a saltwater swimming lagoon. The beach is filled with plant and marine life, ideal for snorkeling. And for the boater/fisherman, there is a boat ramp and a large marina. You can get a slip for your boat for an additional fee paid to the marina manager directly; not through us. Additionally, there is no fishing in the lagoon or Marina. And no swimming in the Marina.

Great Vacation Spot

We booked this for a 2 family stay, and the space worked beautifully for us. The communication with us was wonderful, from pre check in to checking on us while we were there and asking how everything was after checkout. We enjoyed our time and would definitely recommend or come back in the future.

Pre-wedding stay

The property was nice, really liked that there were so many units so my family could also stay and be close. The pool was nice, kids had a ton of fun, really liked the ability to use the bbq and seating area by the pool. The property does have a lot of stairs that I didn’t realize when I booked, we had to be careful with our toddler but she did fine. The location was nice and close to everything we needed for our stay.

Family Vacation

Pool was warm, kids loved to see the fish in the lagoon. Walked out to the ocean morning and night. Would have loved to kayak down by the ocean but there were no paddles. Walking distance to great restaurants.

It’s a three-story house with beautiful decor me and my friend stayed here as a trip before we all left to college great complex several pools close by to good food I would definitely stay here again

Great amenities

We felt right at home! Great amenities on the property. The kids swam in the lagoon and at the small beach. Plenty of room for our family and the condo was very clean and welcoming. Our host was great about checking in to make sure our stay was excellent. We would recommend this home to other families!

Little piece of paradise!

We had a wonderful stay, everything we needed was here, and just steps from the water! We was 1 min from deep sea fishing and 5 min from food and delicious ice cream! Our kids loved it as well! We 10 out of 10 recommend!

The property was exactly what we needed. Communications before arrival were very informative and it allowed for an enjoyable stay. We really enjoyed that there were multiply common areas in the unit for us to lounge and gather.

Birthdays celebration

Chose weekend getaway to celebrate three birthdays with some sun and relaxation. We all needed some down time to unwind and destress. What a better way but to relax with some swimming, snorkeling and fishing. This place was exactly what we needed! It was clean, had what we needed and close to what we wanted to do. We already have other friends wanting to know where we stayed so they can make plans come here as well. It was almost perfectly planned!

Expected better quality

The property was in a great location and the rooms were a good size. We loved the balconies. The “renovations” were cheap and the corners of the floors, especially in the bathrooms were dirty. The wall repairs were not sanded or even properly painted. There was no ironing board which was an issue as we were there for a wedding. When I contacted the owner I was simply told there was no ironing board though there was an iron. There were plenty of towels but they were thread bare and rough. I’ve been staying at short term rentals for years and this was not the worst but definitely not what we expected for this area.

Didn't want to leave!

We traveled with our family of 8. We have 6 kids ages from 7 years old to 16 years old. They LOVED this condo and how they had three stories, and each story had its own balcony. We all had ample room! Pictures are accurate description. It was triple digits outside and the a/c was working great! No carpet which was a plus for us with a child with allergies. We didnt realize how close everything is to this location. The marina is walking distance, key Largo fisheries restaurant up the road, Walgreens, Family dollar, starbucks, and Dolphins Plus you could literally walk too. We stayed for a week. Every day we went somewhere different down the keys until we got to Key West which is about 2 hours away. Host is easy to contact and responds promptly.

Clean & conveniently located

Rental was as described - fit our group of 8 (4 adults, 4 kids) and conveniently located off route 1 and quick drive to many restaurants. The community spaces were great - the kids loved swimming in the lagoon & the various pools. The condo was recently renovated but we found a few inconveniences which if addressed would yield a higher rating. All 3 bathrooms were small and lacked convenient towel racks (patched dry wall & holes in wall showed racks were previously there). We only had limited wash clothes and hand towels (found 1-2), limited floor mats and the towels were not decent quality. The bed in the 1st floor bedroom was older, worn and not comfortable. The air conditioning throughout the house was not consistent - fans were provided but still an inconvenience.

A wonderful Thanksgiving stay

We loved the location and grounds!! A bonfire on the beach is just heavenly! The lagoon is amazing. We snorkeled and used the provided kayak. We did not use the golf cart for the extra price, but it was just sitting there all week. We thought it would make more sense if we just would have to pay for gas, but it was nice to walk around. The condo was great! I will say that it is listed for sleeping 10 people.... that is a bit of a stretch. The pull out couch is the classic uncomfortable kind, so I wouldn't want anyone to sleep on that. If we had 10 people, we would not of been able to all eat at the table together. That being said, we did ask for 2 extra chairs for our Thanksgiving meal and they were provided. The bedrooms were great. Very comfortable beds. The master has a king. The second has a double size bunk bed and a twin trundle. The third has a queen. Also, the dishwasher was broken upon arrival, but I was not made aware of that. I found out after trying to get it to work several times. I also found out that a repair man was going to fix it, but I did not know this ahead of time. It just would of been nice to know, so I didn't waste time trying to get it to work and then having to take them out and wash them. I would have used paper plates from the get go. Not that big of a deal. One day they entire neighborhood lost water, which was an island problem. I did not hear back from the manager for a couple hours and by then the water was back on.
