Enjoy your Florida Keys vacation in this upgraded modern coastal home that is waterfront to a saltwater lagoon. Boater's welcome! The club has an onsite Marina and boat slips. About the Home: Remodeled in 2022, the decor is modern rustic with coastal elements and a color palette that composes of soft blues, whites, greys and natural tones balanced by clean black lines. The layout of the unit is great for families or groups that want to spread out comfortably. The first floor has a living room with a 55" Smart TV, sleeper sofa, full bathroom, and a bedroom. The second floor has a living room with a 50" Smart TV, a fully equipped all white kitchen with quartz countertops and an island with 6 counter stools, as well as a full bathroom and a balcony overlooking the lagoon with two rocking chairs. The third floor has two bedrooms, each with a King-sized bed and balconies, as well as a full bathroom. The townhouse overlooks a saltwater lagoon, which is visible from the 2nd floor balcony as well as the primary bedroom balcony. The lagoon has 3 floating platforms that kids just love jumping off and it has a sandy beach perfect for kiddos that like to play in the sand or adults that like to sunbathe on the chaise lounges. We provide a fully stocked kitchen with utensils, dishes, cups, wine glasses, coffee makers, toaster, blender, BBQ utensils, and some essential dry condiments. Linens, towels and beach towels are also provided, as well as some complimentary toiletries. A washer and dryer are also available for use. For kids, we offer a pack n play, DVD player with some movies, board games, sand toys, flotation devices and boogie board. We also provide tennis equipment and 2 bikes. Kawama Yacht Club Amenities The community amenities make this an amazing destination for vacations, because it alone offers so much, such as the oceanfront jetty with tiki huts and barbeques, water activities, 2 heated pools, a playground for kids, tennis courts, a marina, and firepits for evening gatherings. Access to the marina ramp is free; however, it is required for boats to have a $300k insurance policy for property damage and liability. If you would like to rent a boat slip, we can provide the contact information to the Kawama Marina management company. Key Largo Activities Nearby: You could take a short drive to top travel spots, such as John Pennekamp for snorkeling or scuba diving tours. There is a pool and open water area for lounging and swimming. There is a walking path around the complex and through a sandy area along the ocean/bay. We enjoyed the pool and watching the fish in the lagoon. Sitting on the screened in porch was great. A lot of amenities in the condo. One thing to note is the condo is on 3 levels. The property was spread over three floors with three bedrooms, each equipped with its own bathroom. The place was clean, neat, and well-maintained, with balconies on each floor offering beautiful views of the surroundings. The location of the rental was perfect, situated conveniently in Key Largo. We took a short drive to Key West, which took us only 2 and a half hours, making it a great day trip option. The conscientious location allowed us to explore both Key Largo and Key West easily. Overall, I had a fantastic stay and would definitely consider booking this property again in the future. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a comfortable and well-located vacation rental in the Florida Keys. ##### Nikki L. We had a great time in this rental in Key Largo. There were 6 of us total - 4 adults and 2 kids (ages 10 & 12). The unit was so cute and worked well for our family. The only downside is the bathroom space is a little tight and there’s no outlets in the bathroom on the first floor. That was such a minor inconvenience tho! The location is great - about 1 hour from MIA airport and 2 hours to Key West. The lagoon was great for my kids to swim in and they loved walking to the jetty to go fishing! If you’re going to stay here for longer than 4 days, rent a golf cart. It’ll make getting around easier. We had a great time and I’d rent here again! ##### Kami H. It was such a pleasure to have 4 balconies, 2 of which looked out onto the beautiful lagoon, and 3 bathrooms! We had lots of space to spread out but things still felt cozy and connected. The beds were comfortable and we basically had everything we needed for a short stay. The little beach at the lagoon was a 2 second walk away, as was one of the pools. We enjoyed riding our bikes a couple minutes to the ocean and were pleasantly surprised to realize that there was a staircase which allowed access to swimming. From the photos, I hadn't realized that was possible. Bring your own cooking oil, as there was none available but there are plenty of spices. A nice restaurant/bar is within walking distance and I saw a shark right off the dock next to me while I was drinking an excellent Painkiller. :) There are several other places to eat & drink within a short drive and many other spots nearby in Islamorada. This was in my top 3 best rental experiences and thanks to Monica for the easy & clear communication! ##### Erin M. For instance, I was instructed to wash all the towels I used, make sure I put all the dirty dishes in the dishwasher and remove all trash. No problem, but leave enough dishwasher soap, laundry soap, bleach, garbage bags to do so. Leave extra rolls of toilet paper, not just what is on the roll when we arrived. Replace the bath mats, they are slippery and dangerous. Fix the air conditioning, it is difficult to control and sounds like a freight train. Put plastic bins in the closet so there is somewhere to put your clothes. I do not like living out of a suitcase and you cannot hang everything. Add drapes in the living room so you can close them. Put a blind on the window at the bottom of the stairs in the living room. Pay more attention to comfort than design. Add some comfortable chairs. The rattan chair is not usable. It looks good but...
