It was great would definitely do it again. The only problem I have is this survey is the third time I received it and it's always come in the middle of the night two in the morning 4 in the morning 6:00 in the morning. Stayed 7 nights in Apr 2023 ### 10/10 Excellent #### Erica V. 13 Feb 2025 Liked: Cleanliness, check-in, communication, location, listing accuracy #### Slice of Paradise To summarize: absolutely great vacation house, how can someone complain about being in Key Colony Beach?Awesome features: The pool right in the back yard A resident manatee paid us a visit The outdoor furniture is perfect Tons of parking with and without shade Kitchen island with stools Extra-large couch in living room Large dining table and chairs The location is perfect Annoyances: the two bedrooms that share a bath and cluttered with doors and the rooms are tight. One side of the much-needed closet is full of cleaning supplies and locked. There are VERY limited supplies in the house so you will need to go to the dollar store or publix to get paper towels, napkins, toilet paper, paper plates (if wanted), garbage bags, laundry soap etc. The plumbing acted up a bit and the first attempt of the plumber was temporarily successful, and the second attempt fixed the problem. The hallway toilet wouldn't flush and the shower in the master bedroom over-flowed and it went through the floor tiles and flooded the bathroom/bedroom. The management company was quick to respond, and the owners sent a cleaner to mop the floors after we put every towel we had on the floor. They also brought us clean towels. One of the bikes (there are 2) wasn't working and they sent a handyman who arrived within the hour, and had it fixed before we returned to the house.Looking back the annoyances nowhere near outweighed the amazing vacation we had staying at this cute house. ##### Erica V. Because of this, have been trying a variety different style properties on KCB for a few years now, to figure out exactly how to have the perfect trip. We have done giant homes, 2 story homes, condos, single story homes, and this setup was our absolute favorite with kitchen being on same story as the pool and bedrooms in the front of the house away from the canal. I highly recommend this place and would have given it 5 stars if not for the management company.Manament co.- First, we paid extra for the pool heating, which was confirmed with management. Upon arrival at 4pm, the pool was cold. I called promptly and asked them to come turn it on knowing office hours were coming to an end. They said they would send someone out asap, but no one showed and the offices closed. The next day was easter so i knew they would be closed. I chose to send messages through the app so they were ready to help first thing Monday. No one returned my calls or messages until mid next day, and when i got someone on the phone, they said "well you will have to pay for it, and we will only move it up 5 degrees." Regardless, i wanted the pool heated for my kids so i asked them to turn it on. They came several hours later and not only didnt discount my weekly rate or pro rate for the days missed, but charged me more than the agreed upon and published rate.Second, on wednesday the internet and TVs went out. I called the management company and they told me to reset the router, which we did, and it didnt help. I informed them the TVs displayed a message about needing to call customer service to resolve a billing issue, but they insisted on coming to see the message themselves and play with the router. They said they would be over ASAP, but didnt show, didnt call to inform they werent coming, and offices closed again. They showed mid day the following day, only to tell me they in fact had to work it out with owner and took another ##### Arty Q.
