The outdoor includes a large covered deck, a sun deck, a large heated pool (heater provided at additional cost), with a BBQ. The property is located on the water with a 50' concrete private dock available for the sole use of the tenant includes fish cleaning table and 30 AMP electric connection. 50 AMP electric connection at an additional cost. The property includes a bait freezer. A 5 min. boat ride through the 100' wide canal leads to the Atlantic Ocean, with quick access to the Gulf of Mexico. This vacation rental is a one hour drive to Key West or Key Largo and two hours from Miami. The weather was absolutely ideal and we had a great stay! This house was larger than we really needed but made for a good home base. The kitchen was pretty well stocked on appliances. I am accustomed to rental homes having small things, likely left behind by previous renters, like salt/pepper and maybe cooking oil, and this one did not. But otherwise, there were sufficient pots, pans, dinnerware, etc in the kitchen.Outside of the kitchen, there were plentiful bath towels, but no beach towels. Perhaps we’ve just been lucky/spoiled by other rental homes having beach towels, but when you fly in and are constrained by luggage allowances, it would be nice to see some beach towels provided. There were no frills like puzzles or games around. Not necessarily expected, but I do frequently see items like that in beach homes and we always enjoy them when they’re there.The dock space is great, as was the pool (which, mid-April, was warm enough without us paying for heat). Pool gets morning sun and afternoon shade, which is great. We rented a boat for the week and loved having it there! Had decent success with fishing straight off of the dock, and had visits from manatees on multiple occasions! Having a marina/gas option right at the end of the canal was very convenient.Visited the cabana club 1 time and it was not our scene.Overall, happy with the stay, but it is pretty no-frills. ##### Anne Marie M. Pool is a great bonus to not have to always go to the Cabana Club. Manatees, Nurse sharks and lots of fish right in the canal to be marveled at. The bedroom with the trundle bed shares a jack and jill bathroom with another bedroom -which is perfect for parents and kids to share. Location was awesome -close to grocery stores and restaurants and a walk to the cabana club. The homeowner group was very responsive to our questions. The house was clean and spacious. The only items that we wished we had were dressers in a few of the bedrooms to store clothing. The closets have beautiful organizers but there were no hangers so we ended up buying some. No big deal though. We would definitely be interested in staying at this house again. ##### Karie B. Location, size, and better than the pictures showed. The pool was great and dock for our boat was perfect. Easy access to the open water. It was clean and nicely furnished, and child friendly. This was exactly what we were looking for. It made our family fishing trip to the Keys so easy. The cleaning table was there for us, fishing in the backyard was great too!
