Keuenhof-Hove Holidays from £174

This is a lovely quiet hotel within walking distance of the busy central Cologne. The staff couldn't be more helpful, even ensuring we had a room on arrival 4 hours before the official check in time. We were even offered refreshments while we waited. The room is clean and the towels etc changed every day. Supermarkets, cafes etc within easy walking distance. Id definitely recommend if you want the peace away from the hustle and bustle of central Cologne.

Very clean and accommodating. We arrived earlier then our check in. The staff allowed us to store our luggage.

BEWARE: The room for 4 people is described by Expedia as a double bed and a sofa bed. When we arrived it was actually 2 single beds and a set of bunk beds. The top bunk had no safety rail and my children are unable to sleep in bunks. The check in receptionist was lovely and tried to help in every way but sadly the management refused a refund to allow is to seek alternative accomodation and Expedia unable to resolve. There was meant to be a restaurant that served until 8pm but there was not. The games room facility wasn't fully operational. Breakfast was ok and again service was good here. Parking was limited.

I liked that the property was near some shopping. The rooms were large enough as well as the bathroom. The room did not have a small refrigerator which caused us to purchase ice. The ice machine the hotel had did not seem to work all of the time. There was no coffee in the lobby for customers. The breakfast was OK but not excellent.
