Perfect overnight stay.
Absolutely delightful overnight stay. Spotlessly clean, beautiful room full of Cumbrian character, thoughtful touches like bathrobes, excellent breakfast with delicious veggie sausages and a great pub across the road for dinner. Couldn't fault anything & would certainly recommend.

Great choice of property, very welcoming hosts and possibly the best cooked breakfast we have ever had. We will finitely visit again but will hopefully have better weather next time.

Pleasant stay a short walk away from Derwentwater
Fantastic location, great breakfast, spacious room and Jo was very helpful. It surprised me when I was at the peak of Catbels 50 minutes after leaving my accomodation. I would stop again.

It is a family own accommodation. The room is very big and the environment is excellent. Owner is very friendly and breakfast is super nice.

Perfect English Cottage Holiday
You won't find a more well kept place to stay for your time in the Lake District! Down to the details, excellent breakfast food, spotless rooms, helpful owners and stunning views at every turn! We loved being just a few minutes away from the bustling village and able to head out in any direction for a gorgeous Lakeland adventure! The perfect location for it all!

Quaint Farmhouse in the country side!
Quaint farm house and Jo was a great hostess. The room was clean and very attractive. Breakfast was great. It is in a beautiful setting with great views of the Catbells and surrounding mountains. It a plus the Swinside Inn is across the lane and has a pub/restaurant, with outside setting. Would definitely stay there again.

Spotless, great breakfast and beautiful location
Fabulous! Emailed in advance about my food intolerance and this was accommodated by the B&B who bought some items and also were happy for me to bring my own wheat free sausages for the breakfast. The breakfast was plentiful and perfectly cooked; including my wheat free sausages! The room was spotless with tasteful fresh decoration, without being too cluttered. Wifi worked well and Neflix was also available on the TV. Towels were generously sized and the room was tidied and cleaned daily, spotlessly! The location was beautiful with a pub across the road serving generously portioned standard pub food. The hostess was great, really helpful and even loaned us a walking map for our walk up Catbells and booked us a great table at the pub. She even helped us jump start our car on the morning we left! Would strongly recommend.

Traditional farmhouse in rural location
Great B&B. Fantastic breakfast. Jo was very accommodating. Extremely clean room and brand new bathroom was spotless. Great for a quiet night away with space to run. Nearest village 3km away with lots of restaurants and grocery stores and shopping (Keswick). Thanks Jo !
