"Experience let down by breakfast service unfortunately on both mornings of a 2 night stay. I did receive a phone apology at least but now very unlikely to return with so many alternatives available in the area."

"I found the staff to be accommodating. Our room and bathroom clean and comfortable bed. Breakfast had lots of choices from continental to full English and vegetarian options. I enjoyed my time at the White Lion !"

"The hotel staff: front of house, cleaners, gardeners all provide an incredible, friendly experience. The hotel is clean, breakfast excellent (coffee less so) and it all looks fabulous too. The staff are professional, good humoured and really are the icing on a pretty terrific cake...coffee could be better....but the two magpies is literally 3 minutes walk"
