Kerr Townsley Port Orange Holidays from £692

I booked and paid through Expedia, and from the moment I walked in, everything went downhill. Check-in was confusing. The front desk looks like the check-in area, but guests are actually supposed to go to the back desk labeled “Owners Check-In.” Better signage is desperately needed. I recently got married and changed my last name, which created an issue despite providing two forms of government ID, additional documentation, and my credit/debit cards. After 30–40 minutes, I was told to contact Expedia. Thankfully, the employee eventually accommodated me. The staff was friendly, but the policies seemed outdated. Then I was sent to another desk for a parking pass, only to be pitched a timeshare! Did I seriously pay for a hotel just to be pressured into buying a timeshare? When I mentioned my husband wasn't there, the attendant suggested I “just say I'm single.” Absolutely ridiculous. The room wasn't much better. The shower wouldn't work properly, and when I texted for help, the response was “Showers are tricky.” You're selling timeshares when your showers are tricky?! The property felt outdated and smelled like mold or wet dog. The worst part? I paid for two nights and three days but chose to drive TWO HOURS home after visiting the parks rather than spend another night there. That's how disappointing this experience was. Would not recommend and would never stay again.

Wonderful stay. Everything was
