Bring the whole family to this amazing place with lots of room for fun and ADVENTURE! Nestled just a short 5 minute walk to downtown Kernville, but high enough to view the stars and lights. Perfect for a weekend getaway or a weeks long vacation to experience some of the Sierra National Forrests most spectacular hiking, river rafting, skiing (water/Snow) and best fishing one could ask for!

We stayed at this home during Whiskey Flats Days.it was cozy, roomy, very updated and taken care of. Check in process was simple and fast. The home had everything need to enjoy our stay. The home is close to town and with in walking distance. The walk back to the house was brutal a killer incline.

The Perfect Place

Most VRBO homes are very good places to stay, but this one just might be perfect! From the well-stocked kitchen, to the roomy sitting areas; the great views and evening breezes - everything was perfect for our group of 7 friends! Personally, I really hated to have to leave . . . and hope to go back someday :)

Christmas Getaway

Perfect house for our family getaway. Loved the separation of the floors so the adults could be in one area and the teens in another. All the amenities were available. Perfect walking distance to town. Other than the steep hill that kicked our butts walking up, we had a wonderful time. Very pet friendly.

Great time at Never Mine

A group of childhood friends who somehow made it to 60+ got together for a mountain bike adventure in Kernville. This was the perfect location to access everything you need. You could walk to restaurants if you wanted . Peddling up the driveway was tough. It had everything we needed For a group of six old guys. We would have more if there were more beds.

Very nice house and location. The house is very spacious, cozy, a lot of amenities. The beds size description are wrong though, there are only queen bed and the rest are double beds. Two of the beds, the futons are worn out and does not support body when sleep. They should really change the downstair bathroom lock because it is very hard to lock. Overall, we loved it. Highly recommended.

Mountain Vista Hideaway

Amazing location sitting atop a private locale in the heart of Kernville close to all. The House was well equipped and roomy to fit family and a couple infants. gorgeous view from the yard and upper balcony. I would recommend for a cozy place to host a family gathering.

Great stay to attend wedding

First, many thanks to the owner. The place really for the bill. Now for the details. The property was clean, and stocked with some bare necessities (coffee - pods and grounds). The description and images matched what we saw and expected. WiFi works great. The only concern is the steep driveway to the house. The owner thankfully sent advice to turn the cars around at the top. Backing down would have been a little crazy.Thank you so much for the opportunity to stay. I would recommend this property wholeheartedly, and would stay there again.

The property was ideal for our trip, lots of space to lounge around after the day's activities. Kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed. Host was great. We would stay there again. Definitely a climb back up from town if you are walking, but we were all pretty fit so that wasnt an issue for us

Awesome home with great location

We loved this home. It was an incredible last minute home to book, due to our previous rental canceling a week before our trip. The location was great with the only downside being the steepness of the driveway. If you have a lower car by any means, make sure you take the maintained dirt road! If not, you will scrape and get stuck. Also, if you plan on walking into town, be prepared for a bit of a hike back up. Regardless, the views made up for both of these. We had an amazing time and are so happy we found this home and trusted the initial few reviews.
