The room I was in was a bit weird. the bed was in the middle of the room. and the lighting was very poor in the room mostly due to the way it was set up. I'd recommend they move the furniture around again cuz this was not working for them

This is a gorgeous hotel converted from the famous Riggs National Bank of Washington DC. It is elegant, comfortable and accomodating. The food at Cafe Rigg (we had breakfast) was superb. The hotel is close to Metro (Gallery Place), museums and theatres as well aas several really nice restaurants. We will stay here whenever we come to downtown DC.

The spa locker room is very small, was totally full, could not use the bathroom, had to use the men’s bathroom. Sauna was nice. You need to expand. I will not be coming back to the spa. Btw the staff was very nice, also good masseuse!
