We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Gold Zanzibar. On entering the grand reception we were greeted by very welcoming staff and felt the stress of our 15 hour travel melt away. During our stay we dined on the finest cuisines like tasty curried crab and desserts that were great on the eye. During our stay staff were always helpful, friendly and genuinely very nice people. I'd like to mention some great personalities, Abu, Salim, Basho, Kombo and Masoud they really made our stay amazing. We...

We had such a lovely stay - the room and view were incredible and the beach was like paradise. The staff could not have been friendlier, and the restaurants and food were outstanding.

This hotel is wonderfully clean, food is always plentiful and restocked and the staff are a credit to the hotel , they are super friendly and helpful. Drinks at the bar are wonderful. Regina in the Karibu restaurant is super efficient, helpful and friendly. Pools are lovely and clean and there are plenty SunBeds. The only small fault is that people go to the inside bars without tee shirts and maybe the dress code should be enforced more in the restaurants. All in all a wonderful stay in...

Pleasant stay . Rooms are spacious, beds very comfortable and clean good air conditioning . Owners on site, so any problem were fixed quickly . Location is good for local shops, bars, and beach.

Extremely friends and very helpful staff

Good serves and customer care

We stayed at the the Zalu for a week in October. We both had the most amazing holiday, the service at the hotel was lovely and had a really personal touch as is to be expected from a 5 star hotel. The staff were attentive and helpful in organising day trips. The beach and pool area were simply out of this world and the food in the restaurants was sublime. Whilst the portions initially seemed small after 3 or 4 courses we were both extremely satisfied as the food was just so good. The suite was...

Excellent option, friendly and extremely helpful staff. The only observation is that I found there to be too many Indian food options for both lunch and dinner and I missed more grilled food.

The location was excellent and the staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming. It was a really enjoyable experience and I’d happily stay here again!

We really looked forward to staying at the Zanzibar Queen given other reviews. It didnt disappoint. Fantastic location in beautifully kept grounds. The staff are so welcoming and friendly. The pool area was clean and enticing. There was also boules, volleyball and badminton available to keep the body exercised. As well as table tennis and darts. The restaurant was superb. Ingredients and dishes were varied and akin to fine dining. Resort felt very private although effectively right on the beach....

Incredibly family-friendly hotel. Fantastic service - from the head chef to the front house manager to the housekeepers, everyone working to make sure you got what you needed. As a family with 3 small children we very much appreciated this level of attention. Drawbacks were a mediocre kids club and lots of stairs up and down to the rooms. Food and entertainment were abundant and good, but not great. Was fully booked for most of the time we were there but didn't feel crowded.

This is a lovely quiet each front hotel, we stepped from our door onto the sand. Roo.s are good and the staff were wonderful! We stayed in four hotels in zanzibar, the staff here are exceptional, very attentive and friendly. Hotel even supprised us with a free trip to the 'rock resaurant' and star fish beach! We would stay again in a heart beat...
