Very nice hotel, well maintained and clean. The breakfast choice was quite limited but you could order your choice of eggs. The A La Carte menu was fantastic, Lobster or crab pasta was delicious and a very big portion as well as very reasonable prices. The only downside is the location which is on the main road and not as easy access to the sea by walking.

Clean room and friendly staff

This hotel is wonderfully clean, food is always plentiful and restocked and the staff are a credit to the hotel , they are super friendly and helpful. Drinks at the bar are wonderful. Regina in the Karibu restaurant is super efficient, helpful and friendly. Pools are lovely and clean and there are plenty SunBeds. The only small fault is that people go to the inside bars without tee shirts and maybe the dress code should be enforced more in the restaurants. All in all a wonderful stay in...

We had such a lovely stay - the room and view were incredible and the beach was like paradise. The staff could not have been friendlier, and the restaurants and food were outstanding.

We loved Kilindi. My husband and I came here for 4 nights on our honeymoon. The property is gorgeous, and the friendly staff looked after us beautifully the entire time. Daudi was our personal attendant and he was so friendly and attentive without ever hovering over us. We had an amazing 2 weeks here everything was really perfect . The owner eas around sometimes and when he was he was really pleasant and you can tell he has pride in the place and wants his customers to have a wonderful experience. All the staff were very friendly,approachable and you can tell they love their jobs. I would definitely recommend this place 👌

Quite far to get to from Stonetown but a stunning location. It’s boutique hotel so not the facilities of a mega resort but the local friendly staff arranged a couple of excellent things for me and I really enjoyed the intimate atmosphere. Great food too with sea views. I also enjoyed a massaged in a small hut by the sea so could hear the surf.

Excellent location with a close walk to the beach and restaurants etc. Room was clean and great value for money. Staff were helpful, brought us a hairdryer when we needed it and breakfast was plentiful! A great little place to stay.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Gold Zanzibar. On entering the grand reception we were greeted by very welcoming staff and felt the stress of our 15 hour travel melt away. We really looked forward to staying at the Zanzibar Queen given other reviews. It didnt disappoint. Fantastic location in beautifully kept grounds. The staff are so welcoming and friendly. The pool area was clean and enticing. There was also boules, volleyball and badminton available to keep the body exercised. As well as table tennis and darts. The restaurant was superb. Flame Tree Cottages were an amazing find! We stayed here for 3 weeks, and every day was perfect! The staff are a complete credit to the hotel. They are super helpful, always smiling and nothing is too much trouble. The cottages are super cute, and positioned as such you don’t have neighbours, just your own beautiful gardens to look over.
