Barr na Sraide Inn

Barr na Sraide Inn

10/10 Excellent
"The rooms are above a bar. The staff were so friendly and helpful and gave us plenty of recommendations for where to go. Check-in was straight forward. You do this at the bar. There is a car park at the rear of the property. The room was very clean and comfortable. The location was excellent. Within walking distance of all food places and bars. Breakfast was delicious and I highly recommend eating breakfast here. A selection of juices, tea, continental and delicious cooked breakfast. Homemade bread and scones. At 15 euros this is excellent value. Highly recommend Barr na Sráide⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐"

"We cannot say enough about this hotel & it's staff. 1st off we actually got a call from the front desk the day before we left asking us if we wanted to reserve a table for dinner which was awesome & this got us so excited as we were headed to the airport. This was our very 1st day in Ireland & we flew into Shannon at 530am having been up for the flight & previous day we were truly exhausted. We arrived via the water ferry at like 1230pm & when I got to the counter the woman was lovely. It was also unseasonably hot like 85 degrees at end of May. We were hot & tired & I knew we prob couldn't check in until around normal check in time of 3-4pm & the woman understood & said she would get us a room as soon as she could. She took my cell phone number & we walked around outside which is gorgeous. Less than 15 min later she called & we got a room!!! So happy it was on the 3rd floor we didn't care & it had a nice big window & we go up & quickly realize that the thermostat is for heat only. So they brought us a fan for our stay & the eve the temps were gorgeous enough to leave the window wide open so we could hear the nature & boats coming & going. The dinner we had was lovely the chunks of fish in the seafood chowder were huge my Hubby raved about it. There was an amazing book w/history of the Valencia Island with pictures. We then went out for a drive as the sun set at around 10pm!!!! It was like a dream we went to St Brendan's well & the cliffs. Magical 1st day, highly recommend!"

"The staff was extremely friendly and helpful-some other nice staff encountered on the whole trip. Easy enough to leave car parked there and walk into Dingle. Breakfast was extra but convenient and good Our room had more of a garden view. When the curtains were open, you could see inside from the sidewalk, and when the curtains were closed, it was just too dark inside, not enough light.."
