Pool was mouldy so couldn’t swim in it. It’s a shame as it has great potential if was looked after. But it's become severely run down. Our room was filthy, especially the bathroom which had a faint odor of urine. The bracket that held the shower head up was broken and there was no hot water so forget about taking a shower. No room wifi The sari segara is amazingly only 16 years old, I thought it was at least double this. This hotel was once upon a time a real gem with massive rooms, bathrooms and balconies- some with sea views. However it's not kept up to date and things are very tired. Still it has a charm about the place and I believe that's down to the lovely staff there. No room wifi so I had to sit in reception and be eaten by mosquitoes to connect to the world which I get was very old fashioned! The mattress and bedding was awful, very shoddy mattress and the bedding was so old if fell apart when you touched the pillows. If you want to clock out here is a lovely place at the road outside boasts lovely fresh fish restaurants. First I was allocated a room on 4th Floor and the lift wasn't working. I asked for a change. Then I found my room intercom wasn't working. When I complained they said the cables are cut-off and the phone line cannot be fixed. Worst of all, Shower stopped abruptly and never re-started and unfortunately i cannot even call the reception because my phone line is not working. Hotel is in Bad state.
