Waimea Beach Cottage by Destination Kauai - Charming 2BD, A/C, Walk to Ocean/Pier

"Darling 2bedroom beach cottage minutes away from Waimea Canyon. My mom and I had an absolute fabulous time staying here. Waimea Canyon is mind blowing experience. Plan at least a day there. The cottage is a walk a way from a market and other little eateries and shops that are in the area. The cottage is lovely as it has amenities available and even an outdoor shower and tub. Imagine soaking under a full Hawaiian moon and stars! My mom and I had an absolute memorable girls trip staying in the cottage. We would definitely book this location again! Mahalo!"

"The place was absolutely beautiful! It is tucked away with great privacy. It was very clean. The host had great communication. She reached out before during and after pir stay making sure we were having an exceptional stay. The AC worked very well. All in all, it was a great place to rest and relax! I highly recommend!"

"Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Had a great time as always.All of us like the place and are waiting to plan 2027. Only suggestion would be to change the single ply toilet paper to a 2 ply."

"great family home if you want to get away from the tourist areas and enjoy the oceanfront living. Very comfortable home and great views from kitchen living areas, The outdoor dining Lania provided a great evening setting for family dinner and game night. Be prepared to acknowledge upfront your driving to the furthest part away from everything and plan according. very well stocked home with all amenities. Could have used a larger ice chest, borrowed one from Les and Donna next door, which was great cause we got acquainted with fellow southern California natives and had them mover for dinner one night. The location allowed me to get my favorite picture of all time- the milky way Aloha"

"Liz and Chad are delightful people!! Attentive, thoughtful, helpful, kind, cheerful, AND they give you all the privacy you want.This house is directly behind their home, but you are tucked into a little oasis. It is private, quiet, and inviting. The yard is landscaped thoughtfully. The hot tub and outdoor seating area are clean and comfortable. The outdoor grill is fantastic. The driveway is very handy for loading and unloading from your daily adventures.The house is spotless. They have thought of everything. Having the washer/dryer right inside the door is brilliant. The AC and fans cool the place down quickly. The kitchen is full sized and stocked with everything you could need. Right in the middle of the family room so we could enjoy cooking and being together. The furniture throughout is in great shape, newer, nice quality, and comfy.We spent most of our time on the lanai. Comfy chairs, ceiling fans, table...tucked in perfectly on the property.This is a VERY quiet part of the island. Not near the tourist spots, safe beaches, shops, etc. We fell in love with the westside! But, you will need a car (actually rent a JEEP...game changer for accessibility to the hidden gems on the island). Every day is a new adventure on this island.Also...Nice beach gear.Coolers were helpful.Big showers.VERY well maintained!If you cook...there is fish wholesaler (Kauai Fresh Fish) that sells to the public once a week-ish. Near the airport. Changed our trip notably!Have fun!!!"

"The house was great. The only disappointment was that the central air wasn’t working. There were window units in each bedroom though so we slept very well. A GREAT spot for a big gathering."
