"Our room was spotlessly clean. The bed was older and needs to be replaced but was comfortable. The access was great, we were able to park right in front of our door. The overall property was clean but could use some upgrades. The rooms have been upgraded nicely. Could have a different window shade option, it's either wide open or complete blackout. The restaurant was closed, so no local breakfast and this was not mentioned when booking. The staff were helpful and check-in was easy and fast. The value was appropriate and we would stay there again."

"Someone described this as luxurious--I'm sorry. I felt it was a Route 66 motel in need of updating. The only luxurious thing was the size of the room. The beds were okay. The bathroom was separated into 2 rooms. One with the closet & sink. The heater in this room we could not get turned on. The other was the stool and shower/tub. There was no heater. We did find a portable heater in a closet, so we used that to warm up that area before we showered. We got in late, so didn't see the pool & spa area. It was the only motel in this small town, and I thought it was overpriced for the condition of the motel. No breakfast, either. Had to drive through 2 more towns to find a restaurant. Pretty remote area after going through Brice Canyon and heading up to I-70. I'm glad there was a motel to sleep, but I would certainly not call it luxurious! "

"Front desk staff weren't very friendly. Property was dated, room dark, need more lighting. The waitress/host in the restaurant seemed overwhelmed. She was nice but running around trying to keep up. Very thin overcooked steak."

"Great basecamp for exploring Capitol Reef and SanRafael Swell. Shops and restaurants for food and essentials are within a short drives distance. House was very clean and well kept. Kitchen had all essentials."

"Our stay was fantastic! 14 adults, ranging in age from 25 to 80. Very clean and organized, comfortable sleeping arrangements, and everyone commented on how well stocked the kitchen was for meals in. Loved the dining room table which seats 10, and the kitchen table, seating 5. The sport court and trampoline got a lot of use before and after hiking—so convenient to Capitol Reef. The host was friendly and easy to communicate with. Would definitely return to the property. Highly recommend!"

"Older home that's been updated nicely. Owner gave us very good instructions which we did not look at until our GPS took us to the wrong place. Quiet location close to town. Comfortable beds, funky master bath that works nicely."
