Rustic cabin

At arrival confusion prevailed. Not only had we already paid online through VRBO but also had to pay again upon arriving. Host had not received anything in account from VRBO, Host assured there would be a reimbursement, but there appeared to be a disconnect between lodge and VRBO. Actions are still pending. Room was cold until space and wall heaters were turned on. Slight leak under front of toilet. Room was rustic and comfortable. Location to fishing on Kasilof River is extremely good.

Booked a room with 3 large beds for 6 ppl. When we got there we were told they have NO rooms with 3 beds and never put 6 ppl in a room. So I had to rent and pay for a second room. The owner was nice enough, but the rooms were very dirty. Bugs everywhere and the floor boards were so buckled we tripped every time we went to the bathroom. Stained bedding. No paper towels, no coffee supplies even though there was a pot. I hate to write a bad review bc the permeate were very nice. But it really was the worst accomodations of our whole week trip.
